Such a fun night! Chef Eddie was an amazing teacher, giving detailed instructions plus individual feedback and recommendations to everyone who attended. He also taught us a ton about soy sauces and how to mix different ingredients together to make the perfect dumpling dipping sauce. And of course all the food was exceptionally delicious. We've already discussed looking for more Chef Eddie classes to attend in the future!

What a terrific experience this was. Eddie was outstanding. I'm a school leader, and I know a good teacher when I see one - Eddie is top notch. He gave clear, kind instructions. Everyone got better in a hurry, and we had fun along the way. He was so thoughtful in the construction of the experience over the course of the evening. Couldn't recommend this experience more highly!

Thank yau, Chef Parsati, so much for your cooking class, we’ve learned not only different kind of cooking but also learned the healthy way to cook as well. Both my daughter in law and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

Booked the class Vegetarian Cooking Adventure with Chef Roddy in San Jose (Campbell)

Oscar, our chef and Oscar his sou chef were ready and waiting for us as we were the only couple to enjoy the vegetarian class. They spent time, energy and knowledge with us in an intimate, personable and patient manner and setting. It was great! We learned, tasted and sipped our way through our time and then enjoyed the meal they and we had prepared. We left with well packed extras and great memories.

Eddie was awesome. He’s an incredible teacher - went to great length to impart some really useful info, without being tedious. All I can say is WOW!!! My college son (21) and I had a wonderful experience learning about Indian cooking, spices, how to combine, and how to enjoy. Chef Parsati was so welcoming, full of knowledge and a vast background of all cuisines. My son and I made the exact same meal for my family a few days later and everyone loved it. My husband said "this is the best curry I've had this side of England" I can't wait to make it again for friends and show off my new skills and understanding of Indian cuisine. Thank you Chef Parsati. You made my special time with my boy a memorable experience.

Chef Parsati is amazing! She's travelled and lived all over the world and brings that experience along with a strong culinary knowledge into her cooking. She's a great teacher and welcomed us into our home where we took her heathy Indian cooking class. We learned a lot, the food was delicious, and Parsati's timing to be able to fit four dishes (two entrees, a dessert, and an appetizer) in a short time frame was definitely impressive. We had an amazing time, so thank you Chef Parsati!

Booked the class Indian Grilling 101 with Chef Parsati in San Jose (Edenvale)

Chef Parsati is a treasure of a human being. From the moment we stepped in, she made both us feel welcome as if we were long lost relatives. Not only did she ask very insightful questions about our relationship with cooking and food, but she tailored the experience to our respective backgrounds. The engagement and flow were world class. We learned more about each other along the way and it was truly an experience either of us will never forget it. The personal touch that she provides is a rare gift. Very thankful for the attention to detail and stewardship. Highly would recommend to anyone, even if they aren't one who ventures into the kitchen often. You might surprise yourself after this class.

We very much enjoyed Parsati’s class! We took Indian Cooking Techniques and learned how to make Chicken Pasanda as well as a rice, salad, and dessert. Parsati was very welcoming, friendly and is clearly an experienced cook in a variety of cuisines. She answered all of our questions knowledgeably, and explained the variations in techniques and ingredients necessary to make many dishes beyond the ones we were making. I’d definitely recommend any class taught by Parsati!

Booked the class Brain Food to Boost Your Mood with Chef Parsati in San Jose (Edenvale)

Chef Parsati was great and full of warmth - in her teachings, her food, and her hospitality. In "Brain Food to Boost Your Mood" we co-created an artisanal salmon and kale main dish, along with an avocado appetizer (great with naan!) and almond fudge dessert. Healthy ingredients, but so great in taste! Thank You, Chef, for an amazing meal and experience!

Booked the class Healthy Seasonal Indian Cuisine with Chef Parsati in San Jose (Edenvale)

Our Christmas cooking experience this year was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped into the kitchen, Chef Parsati made us feel like part of a culinary family. Her vast knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and ingredients was truly impressive, but what really stood out was his warmth and approachability. Throughout the session, she shared not only his expertise but also personal stories that made the atmosphere feel cozy and inviting. We laughed together, learned together, and by the end of the day, we felt a genuine connection—almost as if we had been friends for years. This experience was more than just a cooking class; it was a memorable journey filled with delicious food and heartfelt moments that we will cherish for a long time. We left not only with new recipes but also with wonderful memories of a wonderful afternoon shared with a truly talented chef.

Booked the class Vegetarian Japanese Favorites with Chef Parsati in San Jose (Edenvale)

I took Chef Parsati’s vegetarian Japanese cooking class with my niece, and we absolutely loved it! The class was hands-on, beautifully organized, and full of flavor. Chef Parsati made the experience approachable and fun for all ages — she even added a braised salmon dish just for my niece, which was such a thoughtful touch. We learned so many great techniques, from sushi rolling to stir-frying perfect yakisoba noodles, and everything we made tasted incredible — especially the homemade unagi sauce and the silky green tea custard to finish. The atmosphere felt like a true izakaya experience, and Chef Parsati’s warmth and knowledge made it even more special. Highly recommend this class for anyone looking to explore Japanese cooking — whether you’re a beginner, a vegetarian, or just looking for a memorable culinary experience to share with family!

Booked the class Indian Cooking Techniques with Chef Parsati in San Jose (Edenvale)

My husband and I attended the Indian cooking techniques class at her home and had a great time. Chef Parsati was very welcoming and helped us prepare four dishes. I learned about the magical Indian spice box that one should keep for Indian cooking since you can use the same spices for a lot of dishes in Indian cooking; the main differences are cooking methods (grill vs stove) and if you use cream or not for the sauce. The food turned out well. I was surprised to learn that you could make pulao in an Instant Pot and it was fairly easy! The dishes we learned about today did not seem too fussy to prepare at home so I’m eager to try these recipes soon!

Booked the class Balanced Ayurvedic Cooking with Chef Parsati in San Jose (Edenvale)

I went to the ayurvedic cooking class to celebrate my birthday and had a blast. We made 5 different things. Everything on the menu was very flavorful and delicious but also very healthy. We look forward to taking more classes with this instructor. Chef Parsati is awesome. She enjoys teaching and answering questions. She also has a very kind and welcoming demeanor. We also really liked that she frequently explained different substitutions. It really is clear that she is interested in making sure you actually will be able to recreate these dishes at home. Can't wait to go back again!!

Booked the class Indian Cooking Techniques with Chef Parsati in San Jose (Edenvale)

My partner and I had a great time in Chef Parsati's class. She made the process feel much easier than expected, even with lots of things to do or prep. Her approach to the recipes is also very holistic, so you can learn the principles behind why you perform each step and not just what to do in order. Every dish had great flavor as well as high nutritional value - striking a balance between food you can enjoy and a clean, healthy taste. Highly recommend her class if you're interested in learning to cook Indian cuisine & its principles!

Booked the class Quintessential Chinese Cooking with Chef Wen

Chef Wen went above and beyond for our meal. We requested some other menu items on a phone call (he prefers phone to email), and he let us think about what we wanted to make/learn. In the end we switched out 2 of the dishes to dry-fried string beans and hot and sour egg drop soup (which was simply incredible). He is skilled at many kinds of Chinese cuisine, including Beijing, Shandong, and Sichuan. He showed us how to make every dish and explained what seasoning to add and how to chop. He made two versions of the dan dan noodles because he knew I didn’t like spicy food as much. He brought cucumbers he had pickled the day before, plus homegrown peppers! He really wanted to provide the best experience. We loved having a cozy, casual dinner at home, sometimes observing, sometimes chatting, sometimes helping to cook—and plenty of eating along the way! He was very flexible and left a few small containers of sauces too, so that we could have some yummy leftovers.
