First off, Cozymeal needs to update when chefâ€™s change. The chef that ran the class deserves to get reviews. Chef Tom was awesome and hands on throughout the process. We had fun making 2 kinds of pasta by hand and seeing how to make 3 different sauces. 16 people was way too many and I much preferred when I did a class at a chefs house with a smaller group . They shouldnâ€™t allow 16 people in that kitchen ,.,, maybe 10tops! We really did like a chef Tom so A+ for his class!

What a warm and wonderful evening of food prep, conversation, education and then devouring the many delicious Thai dishes we cooked. Chef Shailini was a delight and kept us all involved with our tasks while we learned about the food and its origin. Shailini is a superb story teller and an expert in making everyone feel at ease -no matter their cooking experience. Her home was welcoming and her personality a delight! Highly recommend experiencing one of her cooking classes. She clearly has a passion for food and a desire to share that love of cooking with her students (young and old!)

Melissa was a great hostess. She was very attentive to my texts and Q's before the class. She contacted us a week before to let us know there was an opening, as we had booked another class several months out. Then she communicated her vaccination status and policies about vaccination which we were really confused about since it's 2026. My husband developed a cold and we were considering canceling 2 days before, but the cozy meals refund policy was 48 hours so we attended the class. There was one other couple. We learned how to make sushi rolls using sushi rice, fish, avocado, cucumber, caviar, and spices. Melissa prepared a gluten-free dairy-free dessert for us, and we played a spice game and had a gratitude session. It was an enjoyable couple's evening experience.

We had a great night w chef Shailini! 3 cpls attended our Thai night, we all worked together to prepare 6 different dishes, thanks to the host and chef, all the ingredients were super fresh and best kind. Lots of the prep were done before class allowing us to enjoy so much more. Everyone had such a nice time in her home, the night went late and full of smiles.

My Girlfriend and I went to our first Cozy meal class with Chef Shailini and had a fabulous time. Shailini is an expert chef who pays great attention to detail, provides numerous tips along the way, involves her students, and is able to cook 5 dishes simultaneously. The meals were practical for us to make ourselves which we now plan on, and the atmosphere was very casual and warm with some good laughs a long the way. The interaction between the different groups attending was friendly and we all sat and ate together with a lively coversation going. We highly recommend this class!

Amazing class!! I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn how to make different flatbreads to incorporate into their lives! Chef Sawsan gave so many great tips about baking! Chef was so thorough and this class allowed for all types of hands on opportunities. Also, got to see all the behind the scenes of the kitchen and how chef's bake on a mass scale! The food tasted amazing, with the best part that it was all vegan! I really loved this experience!!

I gave this cooking class to my adult daughter and husband as their Christmas present this past year. They attended the class with Chef Melissa and they said that it was such a wonderful experience! Chef Melissa was so gracious and knowledgeable! She welcomed them warmly and got to know their experience level and also, what they wanted to learn from the class. After getting to know them a bit she started the lesson. The instruction was easy to follow and she made it fun. She had extremely fresh ingredients and taught them what types of herbs and seasonings would work in cooking their meal. She worked step by step explaining every detail. She had them participate in little contests like who could identify certain spices and she gave out fun little prizes. The meal was absolutely delicious and now they feel comfortable cooking recipes that were not usually in their comfort zone. I would highly recommend this cooking class to any level cook. It was absolutely worth every penny and we are already planning our next class. Thank you Chef Melissa!!!!

For Christmas, my sister and I got my dad the Indian food cooking class with Chef Shailini. We had a fantastic time, learning to cook with the chef in a relaxed and fun setting at her home. Over the course of a few hours, we prepped and cooked seven dishes: a coconut chutney snack, a gobi aloo matar, a chicken tikka masala, a saffron pulao rice dish, a cucumber yogurt relish, a light refreshing salad, and a rice pudding dessert. Along the way, Chef Shailini gave us lessons about the food -- both cooking techniques as well as history about the dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we left full, contented, and with all the recipes, so we can make them again on our own.

The menuâ€”Kachumbar, Aloo Gobi Mataar, Chicken Tikka Masala, Raita, Dhania Chutney, Saffron Pulao, and Kheerâ€”hit all the â€œrestaurant favoriteâ€ notes, but the real value was learning the how behind each dish. Shailini had everything organized, explained the purpose of each spice, and showed simple techniques that raised our confidence: how to bloom spices properly, build a bright chutney, and get tender chicken without drying it out. The pacing was perfectâ€”hands-on without feeling rushedâ€”and she offered considered spice heat levels. As in my first class with her, the setting was warm and welcoming; everyone felt comfortable asking questions and tasting along the way. Was a lot of fun, and great instructor! Even though it was not the chef pictured, I felt the chef was professional and a great leader. I would like the recipe, which I was told would be sent. I also did not see that chairs or stools were available to me. Chairs or stools should be readily available at this particular location for all people involved. 90 minutes is a long time to stand for both older people and disabled people- we can still do the prep work from a seated position but we need stools or chairs please.
