Chef Raaje was so welcoming and a pleasure to have as an instructor. The class and recipe was very easy to follow even as a beginner. She is mindful of your spice tolerance and everything came out so delicious! I would definitely recommend her class to anyone who has an interest in learning how to cook Indian cuisine.

Chef Polly was so welcoming and made the entire experience unforgettable! She didnâ€™t just teach us how to cook â€” she took us on a beautiful culinary and cultural journey through Korean history and flavors. Her explanations were clear, engaging, and filled with fun stories that made everyone feel comfortable and connected. I loved how she encouraged us to interact, share, and truly enjoy the process. From chopping and mixing to sautÃ©ing, frying, and tasting, my two teenage boys had an absolute blastâ€”every step of the cooking class was filled with fun and laughter. Chef Rajeswari was incredibly warm and welcoming; it felt like weâ€™d known her for years! This was truly one of the best family experiences Iâ€™ve had with my teens in a long time. And the highlight? Chicken 65â€”my absolute favorite! It is a MUST-try!

Maggie was so organized and prepared for our class. She taught us some great professional techniques, the meal was delicious and we have such a better understanding of vegan cooking techniques. By the end of class we were both flipping our own crepes!

Chef Polly is super knowledgeable and brought some amazing recopies to the class. She was so easy to talk to and guided us throughout the whole day and even prepared a few special side dishes along the way as well. We very much enjoyed our time with her making delicious food, and the cooking space is so beautiful as well with great scenery. We can't wait to try another one of her classes in the near future (and bring our friends!)

Such a fun night! Chef Eddie was an amazing teacher, giving detailed instructions plus individual feedback and recommendations to everyone who attended. He also taught us a ton about soy sauces and how to mix different ingredients together to make the perfect dumpling dipping sauce. And of course all the food was exceptionally delicious. We've already discussed looking for more Chef Eddie classes to attend in the future!

We had SUCH a good time with Chef Parsati!! She made the class a very welcoming experience, in a homey setting, with plenty of hands-on instruction and fun. The recipes are _delicious_! My wife and I will 100% be making them in our kitchen, especially since Chef Parsati specifically talked about ways that we could adapt what she taught us to make them even more simple and easily even for a weeknight dinner. I really appreciated that she was super-cognizant of our dietary restrictions and went the extra mile to make sure our concerns were addressed and the meal was enjoyable for everyone involved.

This was an extraordinary class! Chef Rajeswari is impeccably organized, and everything was perfectly measured and arranged for us to use. Especially since this is a new class, I was amazed at how smoothly everything flowed - Disney could take notes from her on how to handle cleaning and transitions! We chopped the vegetables, chopped fresh herbs from her garden, and cooked/assembled all 4 dishes. I really appreciate how while we were assembling, she explained all the sorts of techniques and varieties in this style of cooking. For example, in our session I learned how to prepare the ginger garlic paste at home, the different varieties of Indian rice besides basmati, what sorts of oils work best for frying Chicken 65, and the delightful story of its name! Most important, of course, is the listed dishes themselves - and those were phenomenal. For the Chicken 65 we prepared the marinade and fried the chicken, along with the delightful touch of fresh curry leaves at the end. I've never made biryani before - that is why I took the class - and the biryani that we made was more delicious that what I've had at restaurants. The raita and lassi were simple and very good - and I learned, for example, that I can add milk (and even ice cream) to my lassi to make it a bit smoother. After taking this class, I feel that I can make these on my own. When we sat down to dinner, there was a ton of food that we'd cooked and it all smelled and tasted delicious. Chef Rajeswari also brought out a few items which were not on the menu that she'd prepared beforehand, and they were - of course - fantastic. Chef Rajewsari (and her husband) is kind, charming, welcoming, and an absolute delight to learn from. Her recipes are delicious, and she is just really fun to be with! I will be trying out the printed recipes on my own in a few days, and I fully intend to take more of her classes in the future.

Chef Mordechai is amazing. My pizza making cooking class with Chef Mordechai was the best cooking class I ever had. The class is fun and very hands on. Chef brought a lot of extra materials for everyone to have plenty to practice and nailed the techniques and everything tasted amazing. Chef also agree to show us how to use my own wood burning pizza oven and share lots of tips. I will definitely recommend this class to everyone!

Maggie was such a fantastic teacher and made amazingly flavorful food for us! I don't usually expect delicious Vegan European food, but this surpassed all my expectations. My favorite dish of the night was the ratatouille with each flavor note standing out beautifully and paired perfectly with a simple baked potato topped with hollandaise sauce. Yum! The best part was that all the dishes being so simple and healthy, are easily replicable any other time at home. We definitely learned a lot and cannot recommend her enough! Truly a wonderful birthday surprise!

Thank you so much, Chef Parsati! This was a phenomenal birthday present! We learned to make INCREDIBLE, accessible, delicious vegan food that we will absolutely be making again in our own home. Chef Parsati is brilliant and was fantastic at explaining what and why she was doing. She allowed the class to be hands on and was kind enough to answer all of our questions about techniques and Indian cooking in general. She was incredibly mindful and attentive to ingredients used especially given our food restrictions. Her home was beautiful and absolutely spotless, and she made us feel so welcomed in her space. Chef Parsati was very accommodating with our dietary restrictions and scheduling (and rescheduling) of the class. The class was conducted in her home. We had a healthy menu with salmon steak, kale salad, and flourless fudge. She taught us how to substitute items and about the health benefits of a lot of ingredients. We had such an awesome class with Chef Moti! He came to our apartment and was so organized with the recipes and needed equipment that we didn't have. The Mediterranean food we made through his guidance SO delicious, truly some of the best med food I've had (and big portions, enough for leftovers :)). He was very accommodating with dietary restrictions, collaborating with me to come up with a menu that worked for our group. He created a fun atmosphere that my family all enjoyed, we shared laughs and stories of life. He taught us cooking techniques that I'm excited to take into our everyday cooking. Chef Pooja showed my partner and I how to make some very tasty uttapams, dosas with a curry potato filling, and ladoo, all of which were new experiences for us! She was an expert guide in the cooking process, and did most but not all of the prep work, so we could participate a little bit in the prep as well as all the stovetop cooking. We also really liked the chutneys that were part of the dish! Pooja was also very personable and was easy to hang out with as we prepared and ate the food. We had a mix-up with timing for a previous reservation and she was very accommodating, and helped to plan a new time as well. All around a friendly, professional experience.

We had a most enjoyable cooking experience last night with Chef Lorenzo. He put us to work prepping much of the food and supervised as we cooked. He talked me through how to cook octopus which he brought to the house already cooked purely in the interest of time. I kind of hoped the octopus salad would be the top item for the night. It was. An added feature was that as we dined on the dishes he had us make, he washed the dishes. Wow! Five stars out of five for Chef Lorenzo and his Med. cooking class! Rich in San Leandro

What a terrific experience this was. Eddie was outstanding. I'm a school leader, and I know a good teacher when I see one - Eddie is top notch. He gave clear, kind instructions. Everyone got better in a hurry, and we had fun along the way. He was so thoughtful in the construction of the experience over the course of the evening. Couldn't recommend this experience more highly!

10/10 this was an amazing class, and I strongly recommend it! Chef Eddie taught us how to prepare the dumpling dough from scratch. This consisted the kneading, the resting, the breaking off pieces, rolling them out, how to stuff and cook them. What I really appreciated what how creative he was in his teaching methods. For demonstration and practice, he had a rough practice dough for us to practice with while our dough was resting. He even had us practice pleating with Playdo, which I thought was brilliant! There was even a little camera to project what his fingers were doing onto a large TV, so that watch either the finesse of the fingers or the larger view. Chef Eddie also made sure to check in on how we were doing, and provided regular and frequent feedback so that we learned how to do everything correctly. And it worked - all the dumplings in our class survived! In addition, he also demonstrated how to braise pork belly (which was delicious), and how to prepare Tang Yuan as a rice-flour dessert variant of the dumpling. Chef Eddie had us try various soy sauces so that we could experience how they vary in flavor an quality, and also explained to us the stories and cultural significance of these dishes. I absolutely loved this class, and if any of my friends express curiosity in how to make dumplings I will immediately direct them to Chef Eddie. If I could take it again, I would!

Oscar, our chef and Oscar his sou chef were ready and waiting for us as we were the only couple to enjoy the vegetarian class. They spent time, energy and knowledge with us in an intimate, personable and patient manner and setting. It was great! We learned, tasted and sipped our way through our time and then enjoyed the meal they and we had prepared. We left with well packed extras and great memories.

We had so much fun at Chef Lorenzo's class! The food was great and tasted so good after a long day of work. If you are considering booking, I would highly recommend. Make sure to bring your own wine if you are interested in having some for your event, there is a wine store nearby if you need to make a trip. Will be booking this again for future team events!

We took the adventures in Thai Cooking with Chef Elham. Loved it. Small class--3 couples so each worked on a separate recipe. Chef went over ingredients, how to prepare them, shared with us many of the unique ingredients and how to get them. The food was amazing, I left feeling like I could make any of these dishes at home, and cant wait to try them.

Chef Parsati was a great teacher and amazing host! Her kitchen was very clean and the overall atmosphere was very warm and friendly. We were amazed by her experience and expertise of cooking different cuisines. The dishes we made were very easy to follow and she helped guide us throughout the whole process. She even changed the recipes a bit to match our personal tastes! Overall the food was excellent and Chef Parsati was an incredible teacher and great conversationalist. Eddie was awesome. Heâ€™s an incredible teacher - went to great length to impart some really useful info, without being tedious. He was super engaging the whole time, had everyone making some exquisite looking dumplings by the end of the night, and his recipes were amazing! I canâ€™t say enough good things.
