This is an overdue review for an incredible time with Chef Eric! My boyfriend and I took his French Pastry class around Valentine's Day and it was such a great learning experience. Eric walked us through all the steps, showed us his techniques of making the perfect dough, and also sent us home with extra dough so we could make a second galette at home on our own. Overall, highly recommend Chef Eric and we're looking forward to taking more of his classes!
Chef Elham was really well-organized and generous with her advice, even about cooking techniques that weren't explicitly related to the class. (For example, she gave really good tips on knife skills, pans to use, and other tips). I was impressed that the class got to do and learn so much.

Our pie-making class was wonderful! In just one evening, we made sweet potato pie, apple crumble, chocolate bourbon pecan tart, and extra pie dough! Christine taught us techniques for the next time we make pie or tart desserts so that they are just a notch closer to what you'd find in a professional bakery (flaky crust, clean edges, learning how to tell when pie is done, etc.). I loved Christine's approach to baking- not fussy or tool-intense. She gave really helpful advice and feedback throughout the class and let us do everything so we were actually learning and not just watching.
Christine is warm, funny, personable, and talented. It was a joy to bake with her for an evening and we highly recommend her for any baking class!

Chef Lamia's Morrocan Tagine class was all I could ask for a cooking class. The class was interactive, and she taught us all the steps and let us do most parts of the work. This 2h class mostly goes over the process of how macarons are done, be part of preparing the creams and then get to form your own macarons. Our macarons were delicious, though nobody told us until now that you actually need to have patience and wait 24-48 until is recommended for them to be eaten :D.
