Then last week I went with a different friend to learn to make stuffed pasta. I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences and feel like I learned a lot and will be able to put those things into practice. I've already used one of the recipes I came home with for a winter squash salad that's delicious.

This was definitely an unexpected experience all around. About 5 minutes after the class was scheduled to start, all ~16 students were standing outside the room waiting to go in. The chef finally came out with a roster and she actually yelled at people to “hurry up†and get inside. The class continued with some of of that same chaotic energy and a few “unprofessional†comments (“the pans are ribbed for her pleasureâ€) given the crowd (father/son). The food was tasty, but nothing incredible. My partner and I both felt like we didn’t learn anything new, but enjoyed our time there.
