We had a great time making a delicious French dinner! Chef Washington is extremely personable and welcoming; his kitchen was prepped, well-equipped, and clean, with plenty of space to move around to the different stations. Our goal was to learn more about French sauces and flavors, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely book again!
We made the handmade sushi and more experience for my wife's birthday and we had an amazing time. We enjoyed learning how to make some of the food that we loved to eat. Chef Pao was so patient in answering all of the questions that we had and where we could buy the food to make the sushi in the future. Chef made it a very memorable and enjoyable night for us to celebrate a birthday. Definitely would recommend!
Chef Made welcomed us into his home with opened arms. He was engaging, funny, and knowledgeable. He described all the different herbs we would be using in the various dishes we were making. We prepped the herbs and vegetables according to his helpful instructions, while he cut up the meats. Afterwards, we joined him in the kitchen to cook the dishes. He showed all the other ingredients (e.g., mushroom soy sauce), talked about the different types of curry, and answered questions. Then we all took turns adding ingredients, stirring and tasting to make sure the seasonings were correct. After everything was finished cooking, we sat down to a delicious lunch - Panang gai with chicken, Kapow moo with ground pork, Num tok moo with pork - all served with beer (our choosing). While we ate, he prepared our dessert - mango with sweet sticky rice. We had a great time with Chef Made and the others who joined us and the food was fantastic. We also came away with the recipes and the leftovers. It was such a fun afternoon!
Chef Coco was out resident chef. Our experience was great! We had so much fun learning about and making the sushi rolls. Chef Coco made the experience so memorable and easy.
Simply stated - a perfect evening! We are a friend group of six who signed up for the “Perfecting Paella†class with Chefs John and Aaron and they brought their ‘A’ game, in my opinion. What I loved was how accessible they made this cooking feel - no shaming in the process, just meeting us where we were (I might bake a little but I really don’t cook. Others in our group were more comfortable stepping up there and that was all good.). I truly appreciated the many tips shared (safety, prep, signs of readiness, etc.) in the cooking process as well as the sharing of personal experiences by the chefs relevant to the meal we were being coached through as well as a bit about themselves. Despite there being about 12 in the class total, I felt the chefs really took care to be sure we were seeing what they wanted us to see and checking with each of us to be sure we were picking up what they were laying down. By the end, we were all enjoying a delicious salad, perfect paella and custard tarts! This class is worth your time and money from start to finish.
I got the cooking class as a birthday gift for my daughter and she had a blast! It was the highlight of her birthday trip. She absolutely loved the smoke bubbles.
We did the pasta class. Chef Shawnie was prepared, it was a very laid back experience and we loved everything about it!
My wife and I attended the Macarons class with Chef Stephanie and found it to be a wonderful experience! We have always heard how difficult they are to make and perfect, but Chef Stephanie helped us nail ours on the first try. We also felt that she gave us some valuable tips about baking in general as well. My wife and I are not strangers to cooking classes, and we both really enjoyed this one. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested.
We cooked italian it was absolutely amazing, he was a great teacher and I enjoying every bite of it. Will definitely be booking again. This would make a great Christmas gift for the family.
We had a wonderful time learning from Chef Kate. She was very knowledgeable on a variety of cooking topics and answered any questions we had with expertise. The food she let us to prepare was delicious. I would highly recommend her and her cooking classes.
We had a great time, learned how to cook traditional Japanese comfort food and enjoyed our delicious meal !
I couldn’t have asked for a better first cooking class experience. The class was intimate, friendly, beginner friendly and extremely rewarding. The menu the chef selected was great — shrimp scampi, ratatouille, lasagna, and cannolis. The space was clean and very well curated for everyone to have a hands on experience during the class. I also happened to take the class with some really funny people from different walks of life so it was a nice social experience too! I will definitely be taking one of chef Ricky’s courses again in the future and hope you all have a chance to check one out as well.
