Kenneth was terrific from start to finish. He was fully prepared, explained all the activities fully, kind in guiding us to do it right, food was delicious, Kenneth was engaging the whole evening- never rushed us; cleaned up everything and we even have left overs for today. We had the best night with Chef Kenny! He was right on time, brought everything we needed, and made the class fun / interactive. I am a hopeless cook, and usually hate prep work, but Chef Kenny made this experience so much fun. He was friendly and patient, and my partner and I had a really fun evening. By the end I felt empowered to make a bunch of dishes and we had a fantastic meal. We would definitely do this again!

Fantastic French Feast - Date Night
with Chef Emily
in Manhattan (Hell's Kitchen)
Chef STEPHANIE was great, a few things that would have enhanced the experience. In my opinion, the food was too little to be satisfying for a dinner. You should’ve had either bread on the table or some form of salad to start the meal. By the time we ate the scallops, they were cold, And it just wasn’t enough to be a full dinner. I learned some great Tactics and overall was a very good experience, a few tweaks could make it even better. Thanks!

Perfectly Flaky Croissants
with Chef Emily
in Manhattan (Hell's Kitchen)
The Chef was lovely, and the pastries turned out great. I only wish everyone at the table had their dough to work with instead of sharing, and it was awkward at times. There was an individual who was baking most of the time and not allowing others to have an opportunity. I think the class is overpriced if you have to share and are not baking or cooking. That is my honest review.

Vegetarian Mediterranean Fare
with Chef Jamie VK
in Brooklyn (Park Slope)
From the moment we walked in, Chef Jamie made us feel completely at ease—her warm presence was so comforting, especially since we’re a little on the shy and introverted side. She created such a welcoming atmosphere that the two hours flew by, and we left not only having made delicious vegetarian Middle Eastern food but also feeling so much more confident in the kitchen. Jamie is incredibly knowledgeable, and her goal is truly to empower her students—she gave us invaluable advice, from how to properly hold a knife to small tricks that make cooking smarter and less intimidating. I’m already seeing the aftereffects; today, as I made sheet pan vegetables, I found myself thinking back to her class. I highly recommend this experience—it felt so personal, and I walked away with skills I’ll carry with me every time I cook!

Would highly recommend Chef Kenneth for any occasion. Super knowledgeable and we learned so many knife skills and tips and tricks we can do in the kitchen as well. The whole process was fun, and there was a good amount of leftovers. We really appreciate how he took the time to teach us and cleaned up for us too. It was also easy to converse with him as well and had the best time!

My partner and I attended a cooking class for our anniversary and were a bit nervous as to what to expect. But Chef Paige is the perfect person for this activity. She is full of enthusiasm for cooking, is super knowledgeable, and is so much fun to be around that all of the nerves quickly disappeared. I could not imagine a better first-time cooking experience. For anyone deciding between cooking classes, especially if it's your first class, I highly recommend Chef Paige.

Had a great experience at Jamie's Mediterranean class. She was heavy on educating us on what we were using, why, and always had an alternative we could explore. Healthy amount of challenge to try flavors we were previously adverse to. And she's extremely entertaining! The lemon olive oil cake was the star of the show.

Focus on Fresh Bread
with Chef Emily

Chef Liz knows how to bake rustic breads but a 2-hour class was too much too fast: TWO prepared dough to make TWO different recipe breads. *For $99 we EACH should get dough loaf that others didn't handle barehand) *Students didn't get 9page recipe before class - CozyMeal emailed it asap I asked *Liz didn't say ANY units of ANY ingredients (eg "add the TEASPOON of salt" vs "add the provided salt) *Helpers behind Liz were distracting. *Premises pleasant, clean, good transit.

Had the best time at a private cooking class with Chef Kenneth! He was super personable from the start and made the whole night fun while teaching us the proper way to make miso soup, sushi, tempura, and dessert. The food was amazing—plus, we had leftovers! Such a great experience overall, and I’d 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and hands-on way to learn some new cooking skills.

Chef Denis is a gifted cooking teacher, who managed to engage our whole family for a this Lord of the Rings themed meal. This was a great team-building experience with Chef Stephanie, aka "Chefanie." She is informative and engaging. The chef allowed us to ask questions and provided plenty of opportunities to share the cooking and learning experience. My only suggestion would be to offer stools to participants since eating the meal standing up was awkward and uncomfortable after standing for 2+ hours during preparation

Came as a group of 3 for a friend’s birthday and had the most amazing time. I really enjoyed the ease of the class and the prep work that went into setting up everything for us. The polenta was amazing. It was honestly my favorite part of the meal and then it was the blood orange sorbet for me. 10s all around. The staff there was so sweet. I will definitely be back. <3

Dona was wonderful!!!!!
My family recently attended a cooking class, and it was an unforgettable experience! Dona, the chef, was absolutely wonderful. Her warm and engaging attitude made it easy for our children to participate and truly enjoy the experience. She had a unique way of making everyone feel comfortable and involved, regardless of their age or cooking skills.
The food we prepared was simply delicious. Each dish was a delightful blend of flavors, and Dona's guidance ensured that even the youngest daughter could contribute meaningfully. It was heartwarming to see our kids so excited and proud of the meals they helped create.
This cooking class was more than just a learning experience; it was a bonding opportunity for our family. We laughed, learned, and created memories that we will cherish. We can't wait to share this wonderful experience with all our friends and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and educational family activity.
It is highly recommended
