Prepare to be amazed. Nick is extremely qualified to teach, dazzle and entertain. Your palate will be pleased and your knowledge of food and cuisine will grow in leaps and bounds.
The fresh pasta was made like a native Italian and his Bolognese sauce is on another level.
Learn how to make a delicious bearnaise sauce, marinate and cook a skirt steak like you've never tasted before. The flavors in the mushrooms and steak continued to wow me long after the last swallow.
For dessert, tres leches cake! Wow! You will definitely find room for this, even on a full stomach.
Never pretentious or proud, always willing to share his abundant skills and craft. You won't be disappointed. Bring your friends. Come back again and again.

Chef Michael provided a great experience! My date and I were lucky enough to have a private session which was a great chance for us to ask Michael a ton of questions on his cooking experience and travelling in general. We are excited to practice the techniques he taught us in making the meal, especially the delicious risotto. We can't wait to come back for another class!

Chef Michael was extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job managing 4 couples and getting us through a three-course meal in an hour and 45 minutes! He even had macaroons for us at the beginning, which I thought was a considerate gesture. The only reason I give this a 4 rather than a 5 was that I felt a little rushed and like he wanted us to leave at the end. I personally did not like the salad that we created but that may be just my preference. Over all, I had a great time and felt that it was worth every penny spent. The conversation with the other couples there was great, and I would recommend this to anybody looking for a neat experience in New York.

We had a WONDERFUL experience learning from Chef Michael. He was professional, patient, and enthusiastic about his craft. We’ve all been to several cooking classes and kept saying how unique, personal, and relaxed this cooking class felt. Our food was delicious and we came home happy and full. The flavors were rich and the recipes were new to us but also not unbelievable technical - we all felt like we’d be able to replicate the recipes at home which was a great takeaway from this evening, too! We highly recommend this experience!!!

We had a 9-person private cooking class with Chef Ivan and it was fantastic! We split up into two groups and learned different techniques to create a delicious 3-course meal. We had a couple of folks who had dietary restrictions, which were seamlessly accommodated. Chef Ivan was knowledgable and handled our questions with ease. I'd recommend this class to groups and anyone who wants to learn authentic cooking techniques from an experienced chef.

Perfectly Flaky Croissants

The Chef was lovely, and the pastries turned out great. I only wish everyone at the table had their dough to work with instead of sharing, and it was awkward at times. There was an individual who was baking most of the time and not allowing others to have an opportunity. I think the class is overpriced if you have to share and are not baking or cooking. That is my honest review.

Focus on Fresh Bread
with Chef Emily
in Manhattan (Hell's Kitchen)
Chef Liz knows how to bake rustic breads but a 2-hour class was too much too fast: TWO prepared dough to make TWO different recipe breads. *For $99 we EACH should get dough loaf that others didn't handle barehand) *Students didn't get 9page recipe before class - CozyMeal emailed it asap I asked *Liz didn't say ANY units of ANY ingredients (eg "add the TEASPOON of salt" vs "add the provided salt) *Helpers behind Liz were distracting. *Premises pleasant, clean, good transit.

Modern Steakhouse
with Chef Ozzy
in Manhattan (Upper East Side)
My wife and I took the "modern steakhouse" cooking class with Ozzy because we were having trouble getting the desired temperature on our steaks. Ozzy came to our apartment for the class which I thought was very helpful because we got to learn in our own kitchen. Ozzy is a very experienced and accomplished chef but he was also very friendly and we loved his teaching style as it allowed us to watch him and then replicate for ourselves. I’ve cooked steak 3 times since and I have been able to cook the steak at medium rare consistently. We are very grateful that we took this lesson and would recommend Chef Ozzy to anyone that wants to learn about cooking.

Chef Michael is a really interactive instructor and definitely learned a lot from his class! The appetizer (Roasted Dates Wrapped in Bacon) was really simple to prepare but a really delicious combo. The Spanish roasted chicken had a lot of components and was filling and a good blend of flavors. Lastly the dessert was the perfect ending to the meal.

There is a wide range of baking experiences for you to choose from. There are classes that will teach you the delicate art of French patisserie, classes that will introduce you to the world of bread making, including how to ferment the perfect sourdough loaf and how to dimple a focaccia.
