Booked the class East Village Cuisine - NYC with Guide Avital in Manhattan (East Village)
Food Tour – East Village Cuisine – NY Tour guide - Yasmin “Tour was fantastic! Great information on each restaurant, food was awesome - great portions and variety of food. Seating for our large group at each location. Friendly tour guide. It was super fun - not hard walking - and at each restaurant we sat with someone different, so we were able to talk to everyone without that awkward moment trying to have a conversation with all at once.â€
Booked the class Discover Williamsburg in Brooklyn with Guide Lauren in Brooklyn (Williamsburg)
We had a great walking tour with Justin! Rain or shine - we learned about the history of Williamsburg and stopped at some tasty spots. Great way to see and explore a new area of the ‘city.’

Booked the class Stroll Through Hell's Kitchen with Guide Alex in Manhattan (Hell's Kitchen)
Tim was an excellent guide as we strolled through the different cultural experiences of Hell's Kitchen, getting to try Japanese BBQ, Georgian cheeseboat, Mediterranean tapas, as well as comfort food with meatballs and the broadway cookie treat. With great storytelling flair and a caring attitude, Tim took us on both a gatstronomical and historical adventure that was well worth the experience.

We had Cal as our guide. He was super friendly and knew all kinds of local history. We were introduced to 5 great restaurants that we would definitely try again if in the area. Highly recommend both this tour and Cal as a guide.
Booked the class Landmarks of Manhattan with Guide Lauren in Manhattan (Chelsea)
A tour with historical info and stops at a handful of the food stalls in the Chelsea Market and Market 57. Advice: skip breakfast and come hungry! Note that Lauren isn’t the guide and 6 isn’t the maximum number of guests. Our group had 12 people and it was fine but not intimate or full of “hidden gems†as in the description.

Cozy meal did NOT disappoint! Menu was good and Alex was amazing. Such a wealth of information however with all the history of the Irish I would wish an Irish restaurant would be part of the tour. Thank you

Booked the class Exploring Hasidic Williamsburg with Guide Frieda in Brooklyn (Williamsburg)
Guide Frieda taught us so much about this hidden in plain sight community. We tried traditional Hasidic foods that can't be found anywhere else in the city and the freshest kosher baked goods! This neighborhood filters the Western world while being surrounded by it in creative ways I never would have known without going on this tour.
Booked the class Meet Brooklyn's Food Artisans with Guide Julie in Brooklyn (Williamsburg)
Julie was a delight to spend an afternoon with. She showed us a side of Brooklyn food and culture that we would have never known was there. I loved trying all the traditional local foods as well as delicious modern takes on New York classics!
Booked the class Discover Grand Central Station Terminal with Guide Alex in Manhattan (SoHo)
The Chinatown food tour was a fun journey through many Asian cuisines. We learned all about the history and struggles of the neighborhood over the past two centuries and sampled all the food that has come out of it! Guide Morris showed us a few tucked away spots with such variety that we'll definitely be going back to try everything else on the menu.
Booked the class Explore the West Village with Guide Chieu in Manhattan (Greenwich Village)
Guide Lauren or a local guide will give you the full rundown on West Village history as you wind through tucked away neighborhood streets. They'll show you all the classic New York foods and show you lots of popular and a few hidden landmarks. We got to try food from a variety of cultures, done city style! Everyone on the tour quickly became friends and we had a great time sampling and sightseeing.
Booked the class Historic Lower East Side with Guide Adam in Manhattan (Lower East Side)
Adam guides a tour with all the Williamsburg hits. You'll get to taste a real New York bagel, a slice of pizza only the locals know about, and some fun dishes that take American classics to a new level. Adam takes you on a loop of the neighborhood providing historical facts along the way with stops for amazing skyline views. He also showed us my new favorite grilled cheese in the city!
Booked the class Tastes and Tales of NYC's Lower East Side with Guide David in Manhattan (Midtown East)
Guide David's tour of South Brooklyn was an amazing way to spend an afternoon learning and tasting the rich cultural history of the area. I felt like we were getting real insider knowledge about the best and most authentic restaurants, cafes, and markets. At every stop he shared wonderful anecdotes about the shops founders, how certain recipes came to be, and how food has changed and been changed by development. Each dish we tried was a perfect sampling of the diversity of flavors in the neighborhood and so delicious. I will be stopping back at each of the restaurants for more soon!
Booked the class Landmarks of Manhattan with Guide Lauren in Manhattan (Chelsea)
The tour of Flatiron will give you a comprehensive look at the history of the district and New York City. She weaves in lots of fun anecdotes about the neighborhood and where the food you eat comes from. We tried New York staples and artisanal takes on classic dishes. I loved getting a true sense of how what I tasted was shaped by the changing of time!
Booked the class Discover Iconic Bites of Chinatown & Little Italy with Guide Bobby in Manhattan (Chinatown)
The tour organizer changed the location at the last minute to a new location over 1.5 miles away. Unacceptable. Would be better off picking a different one.
Booked the class From Bites to Brews in Chinatown & Little Italy with Guide Bobby in Manhattan (Greenwich Village)
didn't like standing up to eat food. Bobby was not our guide and contact several times to get correct time and date response. will not book again with cozy meal.
Booked the class From Bites to Brews in Chinatown & Little Italy with Guide Bobby in Manhattan (Greenwich Village)
Gave us the wrong meetup location and/or the wrong meetup time. We were told to meet at 12pm, and when support got back to us at 12:15pm they said the tour had already started and they were over 30 minutes walking distance from us. We then thought it would be a lost cause to try and catch up so we sent screenshots to their customer support and then decided to call their customer support line who said they would confirm with the tour guide before being able to give us a refund. It has been days and we have still not heard back from them. We have emailed and called and the number has gone dead on us and they have not responded to our emails. We have started to take other measures at this time.
Booked the class The Best of Brooklyn with Guide Lauren in Brooklyn (Brooklyn Heights)
We had to leave at 1PM to catch our flight, but a croissant and a slice of pizza is not really what I expected for a food tour ... ;(
