Learn how to recreate vegetarian versions of Japanese classics with Chef Parsati.

Get the full izakaya experience with this hands-on vegetarian cooking class. You'll learn techniques like sushi rolling and stir-frying using fresh produce and traditional Japanese ingredients.

Begin with a starter of Japanese spiced edamame beans, then Chef Parsati will teach you how to make tofu, avocado and cucumber sushi rolls with umami-laden unagi sauce and spicy wasabi. Next, heat things up by preparing yakisoba noodles with fresh vegetables and a sauce with smoky, sweet and sour notes. End class by whipping up an earthy green tea custard.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
