We had a fantastic experience with Chef Lilly! She made us feel welcome and we quickly felt like old friends spending a fun time in the kitchen. Chef Lilly taught us 7 traditional recipes from her Algerian mother's cuisine repertoire and the the dinner we made together was so delicious and flavorful. She also gave us healthier cooking alternatives and very useful tips. The best part is that Chef Lilly packed the rest of the dinner so we could have another feast at home! We highly recommend her!

Chef Robin was nothing short of amazing! Beyond the wonderful food she demonstrated and prepared with my wife and I for ValentineвЂ™s Day, the conversation was fantastic. We traded funny story stories while we learned and she could not have made us feel more comfortable. We made a barrage of french cuisine including fresh baguettes, beef stew and chocolate fondue for desert. The food was exquisite and the company was A+. We will be having robin to cook for us and friends in the near future!

We had a wonderful time with Chef Robin. She was great at working around our small kitchen and got everyone involved in the cooking process. She also had a ton of great cooking tips that we can apply to many dishes we make. Of course, the food was out of this world!! We would definitely recommend anyone in the Chicago area to take Chef Robin's class.

My husband and I had a FABULOUS time learning from Chef Andy. He has fantastic stories, and was able to help us hone in our knife and intuitive cooking skills - Chef Andy is a patient teacher and very supportive. The menu/food was delightful, and it was a perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday. I've already recommended him to three friends, and can't wait to hire him for future classes! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely evening.

Wow- Where do I start with my time with Chef Robin. Chef Robin was SPECTACULAR! I decided to use Chef Robin for a Christmas gift and it turned out to be an unbelievable gift! Chef Robin was on-time, polite, and extremely professional throughout our experience. She went above and beyond our expectations and her food was outstanding! Her food was fun, simple, yet extremely creative that included tons of delicious flavor! We will definitely be using Chef Robin in the future for other catering/dinner parties/ private chef lessons. I would highly recommend Chef Robin to anyone who is looking for an unbelievable & fun personal chef experience!

If you've ever wondered how to get into healthier cooking, Chef Lilly has the answer for you! Her food is vibrant вЂ” full of colors and flavors that bring out the true essence of the ingredients. She prepares food with their health impact in mind, but at the same time, manages to make the final dishes taste wonderful. Who knew that a spinach dip full of flavor, was also full of rich goodness? The lemon turmeric energy balls were such a treat that incorporated a vibrant blend of ingredients that Chef Lilly easily shows how to combine in order to create your new homemade power bars. Chef Lilly's sense of humor, food and health knowledge, and easy to follow recipes, make for a wonderful class that you shouldn't miss if you want to care about what you eat and how to improve your own health!

I've rediscovered french toast after eating Chef Nicholas' "tipsy" interpretation of this popular classic--very decadent! A chef who knows his food and has no problem sharing his knowledge to you as he shows you how to break apart roasted duck, make a roulade using fish, or the basic techniques of French cuisine.

I was incredibly disappointed by this class. First things first, I booked this because it mentioned bringing wine or beer. We were immediately told that this was not allowed. We were really excited to have this as a date night and that plan had to change. I couldвЂ™ve moved on past this if the class was at all impressive but it wasnвЂ™t. The teacher never introduced himself. So I wonвЂ™t be able to refer to him by name in this review. The packets left at our stations were the internal use only packets so I know exactly where the class fell short. This is an aside, but it also had the specific sales pitches the teacher was supposed to be using which felt a little gross. I understand that a class like this cannot be every step by step due to timing but the teacher didnвЂ™t teach us anything. He had us put the steaks in a dry pan (I incorrectly trusted the process here, but the recipe that we got AFTER the class confirmed there shouldвЂ™ve been oil in the pan). He told one table, not the class, how long to sear the steaks for. We happened to overhear him speaking to another table. Because we had the internal packet, I saw that he was supposed to teach us about searing, about emulsifying a vinaigrette, about the texture of the mousse. He did none of this. He occasionally walked around and said вЂњthat looks goodвЂќ. Like he said our pan sauce was good to go. We hadnвЂ™t even added the broth yet because our burner had shut off and we couldnвЂ™t get his attention to help on this. But he said that ours was done and good to go. How? I think the whole night couldвЂ™ve been salvageable if the food were well-cooked. We got back into the room after the break and he announced that the steaks were cooked to a вЂњperfect medium rareвЂќ. Absolutely not. I eat a lot of steak and this was RARE. Like purple rare. A lot of people in the class sent their steak to be cooked more. The potatoes were also so undercooked. I had to saw at it with a steak knife. I would never recommend this to anyone and will not be booking this class ever again.

We didnвЂ™t have Eric but some woman. Instructions werenвЂ™t that thought out and for groups of four, more equipment should have been available. You should offer classes for groups of 2. Not enough hands on time with four people and you canвЂ™t experience cooking the meal.
