Chef Andy taught an awesome cooking class, it was a great mix of fun, educational, and super tasty. Each of the tapas tasted awesome -- the risotto was the star of the meal for me, and my fiance was obsessed with the salad. Along with the recipes, Chef Andy also taught kitchen skills like knife work and building intuitions about taste as we're cooking. I would totally recommend this class to anyone who considers themselves a foody.

Chef Titik is so personable, warm, and welcoming! She is a joy to cook with and learn from. We prepared delicious kabobs with tzatziki, an amazing seafood stew, and lemon cake that was the best IвЂ™ve ever had! Her joy of cooking is contagious and takes the student beyond the mechanics of measuring and doing. She, in her way of being, teaches appreciation of food through the senses and teaches tips and tricks that are useful in every day life! Thank you again Titik вќ¤пёЏ

My husband and I had a FABULOUS time learning from Chef Andy. He has fantastic stories, and was able to help us hone in our knife and intuitive cooking skills - Chef Andy is a patient teacher and very supportive. The menu/food was delightful, and it was a perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday. I've already recommended him to three friends, and can't wait to hire him for future classes! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely evening.

Does the thought of making maki rolls and nigiri at home excite you? What about the secrets to a beautiful flan? Chef Andy makes it all fun and easy to learn! Full of energy as well as knowledgeable about food--this young chef will teach you how to turn an ordinary strawberry into a cool rose for garnishes, and even educate you on edible flowers and fresh herbs [he actually grows them at home!]. If you're looking for a fun evening, you don't want to miss this class.

I was incredibly disappointed by this class. First things first, I booked this because it mentioned bringing wine or beer. We were immediately told that this was not allowed. We were really excited to have this as a date night and that plan had to change. I couldвЂ™ve moved on past this if the class was at all impressive but it wasnвЂ™t. The teacher never introduced himself. So I wonвЂ™t be able to refer to him by name in this review. The packets left at our stations were the internal use only packets so I know exactly where the class fell short. This is an aside, but it also had the specific sales pitches the teacher was supposed to be using which felt a little gross. I understand that a class like this cannot be every step by step due to timing but the teacher didnвЂ™t teach us anything. He had us put the steaks in a dry pan (I incorrectly trusted the process here, but the recipe that we got AFTER the class confirmed there shouldвЂ™ve been oil in the pan). He told one table, not the class, how long to sear the steaks for. We happened to overhear him speaking to another table. Because we had the internal packet, I saw that he was supposed to teach us about searing, about emulsifying a vinaigrette, about the texture of the mousse. He did none of this. He occasionally walked around and said вЂњthat looks goodвЂќ. Like he said our pan sauce was good to go. We hadnвЂ™t even added the broth yet because our burner had shut off and we couldnвЂ™t get his attention to help on this. But he said that ours was done and good to go. How? I think the whole night couldвЂ™ve been salvageable if the food were well-cooked. We got back into the room after the break and he announced that the steaks were cooked to a вЂњperfect medium rareвЂќ. Absolutely not. I eat a lot of steak and this was RARE. Like purple rare. A lot of people in the class sent their steak to be cooked more. The potatoes were also so undercooked. I had to saw at it with a steak knife. I would never recommend this to anyone and will not be booking this class ever again.
