This was a fabulous experience. Chef Luca taught us a lot about making pasta, Italian ingredients, tinkering with the ingredients to your taste. He made the recipes look easy and the whole experience was lots of fun!

From the start, Chef Rodney made everything fun, interactive, and engaging. It wasnвЂ™t just about following a recipeвЂ”he really took the time to break things down and explain why certain techniques work, which made a huge difference. What really stood out was how hands-on the class was. It wasnвЂ™t just watching someone cookвЂ”we were in the mix, learning as we went. This class was fantastic! Chef Tish was so personable and knowledgable as she welcomed us into her home and taught us how to cook Italian small plates. It was an entertaining and engaging night for my parents and us. We learned so much and had a great time. While it was small plates, we left VERY full and with some leftovers. Everyone was making mmms and wows and ohmygods sounds as we finally tried the food we'd helped prepare. We couldn't stop talking about the food and how much fun we had the whole way home, and I imagine that its a night we'll be talking about for a while!

Chris did a great job....very personable, knowledgeable. Food was very good. Suggestions would to involve participants in the cooking process versus just prep, eat the meal with us and provide recipes for the food we prepared. The class was well-paced and relaxed.

Class was great- right balance of hands on learning and getting to eat! Chris was fantastic. I especially appreciated that he applied techniques that could be replicated at home, without having to buy new gadgets. Food was delicious. Also felt like class size was appropriate; nice group.

WOW, what a wonderful experience!! Chef Luca was incredible - his knowledge of the cuisine, love for food and love to entertaining was top-notch. First time we had ever done this - did so with another couple. The food was INCREDIBLE, but mostly we simply loved the experience - casual, informative, very fun to help make the pasta, and learn how to replicate the same dishes at home. Would highly recommend.

We were welcomed into Chef ChrisвЂ™s house and all the ingredients were set up. The small class was intimate and friendly. Chef kept us focused with clear instructions to create an incredible cooking/dining experience. Fresh ingredients, intimate atmosphere, knowledgeable chef = great experience. Chef Luca was absolutely amazing, and the food was divine! He was very accommodating despite us having a tiny apartment, and made the experience so fun with his wit and humor. Beginner or not, Chef Luca makes sure you can participate and I cannot recommend him enough! I gave this experience as a gift to my husband and we were so excited about it for weeksвЂ¦ Chef Luca did not disappoint. HeвЂ™s charismatic, engaging, and educational. We learned so much more than just how to prepare a meal, we learned about how to find quality ingredients; why certain ingredients are better (got to taste the proof,) and where to easily find them. He made it fun and easy, even gave us tips on how to help get our very picky kids to eat more healthy mealsвЂ¦ and they actually worked. Yes, the food was euphoric, well presented, and well prepared, but more than that, I feel like we got a full Italian experience. Great food, great wine, and great company. I canвЂ™t wait to share our new culinary skills with our friends. WeвЂ™ve been raving about the whole experience since, but I also am so excited that I have found a unique gift I can give my friends and family, something to not just be placed on a shelf, but an immersive experience that will not be soon forgotten.

Wonderful experience! My husband, son and I enjoyed the Hearty Italian Feast cooking class. Chef LucaвЂ™s place was setup perfectly for a small cooking class. He has a great personality and he knows Italian food. We laughed and learned as we made pasta and sauces from scratch. I learned how easy it was to make delicious sauces in no time. No need to simmer for hours to have great flavor. We had a great time and left full and with leftovers to enjoy the next day. I would definitely do another class with Chef Luca.

Authentic. Knowledgeable. Unforgettable. Fun. We celebrated our 3rd anniversary with Chef Luca's Famous Italian Pasta Dishes cooking class. Chef Luca is nothing short of a revelation. His love of people, cooking, and simple ingredients are fully on display. The courses got better as the night went on and the alfredo sauce was indeed the best we'd ever tasted. What a great experience! We celebrated our friends 20 year wedding anniversary with this fun cooking class. Chef Luca made the class fun! He gave us great tips on authentic Italian products and gave us a great understanding on making pasta. The food was delicious. We ate, drank and laugh doesn't get better than that. The apartment was super cool, with original artwork and was properly cleaned and setup for our amazing time. We will be back for more.

Surprised my husband with a class for his birthday. Best idea ever! We had a blast with Chef Luca and learned so much. The food we made was unbelievable. So fresh and tasty!!! I was born and raised in Italy, in the very same region Emilia Romagna, and I'm also a foodie, so you can believe me when I say this amazing experience with chef Luca is as close as it gets to being in Italy and cooking delicious authentic Italian food with your friends!! It is a excellent activity for a date, for a group of friends, a birthday gift.. anything! You honestly don't even need an excuse to go! You will eat the best Italian food you've ever had, and even learn how to make it! What more can you possibly want? IвЂ™m a couple of months late writing this review, because my husband and I went out of the country for a few weeks after our cooking class with chef Luca. In other words, I got very behind on вЂњlifeвЂќ! But IвЂ™d just like to say that my husband and I had an AMAZING time during our private cooking class with Chef Luca! This was a birthday gift that I gave my husband to not only celebrate his love of cooking, but also to honor his father who recently passed away. My husbandвЂ™s father was Sicilian, so Italian food and wine was always a huge deal when he was alive and my husbandвЂ™s fondest memories with his dad always involved drinking red wine and chowing down on all of the delicious Italian staples! Chef Luca was so very kind enough to add a few Sicilian dishes into our birthday course line up so that my husband could learn how to cook his dadвЂ™s favorite foods. This required Chef Luca having to veer off his original planned dishes in order to accommodate my advanced request on adding Sicilian dishes, and he did so with excitement and enthusiasm and we TRULY appreciated everything he planned out for us. All of the food we tasted was ABSOLUTELY delicious. SeriouslyвЂ¦ we are still dreaming about all of those pastas and the amazing olive oil flight and every other morsel that was cooked with love in that kitchen! It was so dreamy. To end this review, IвЂ™d like to express how much this cooking class meant to my husband. Once I surprised him with our plans and told him that we were going to learn how to good Sicilian food to honor his late father, he broke down in tears and told me this was the best birthday gift he had ever received. Thank you, Chef Luca, for such a thoughtful and amazing day. We truly had a blast with you and we appreciate you making this a special memory for my husband that he will NEVER forget! You are the BEST!

INCREDIBLE !! Chef Luca is welcoming, funny, engaging as well as an awesome chef! It is hard to put into words how much all 6 of us enjoyed the class. Chef Luca made us feel like family sitting around the dinner table on Sunday afternoon. He shared family stories, history of where he grew up, what made him want to be a Chef, all the while feeding us great food and making us feel so at home. We were taught how to make pasta, ravioli, ricotta cheese, how to bring out the flavor in different olive oils, and may other valuable tips on what to do and what NOT to do. Needless to say, the meal was fantastic! We didn't want to leave. The greatest compliment we can give is that we want all our family and friends to have this wonderful cooking experience with Chef Luca.
