Simply put, Chef Kira was amaaazing!! It was my fiancГ©s birthday and she wanted an memorable experience. We ended a great weekend of celebrating with Chef Kira at her house for Cuban night. From the moment we walked in, it felt like family. We had a group cooking class and ended up meeting the best people and became family by the end of the night. WeвЂ™re even looking at doing another cooking experience together with Kira. My fiancГ© was surprised and Chef even created a beautiful birthday moment for her. A great hands on experience! Chef Kira was extremely personable, knowledge and such a good time! Wow! This was a first time experience for me and my boyfriend and let me just say it was amazing! Chef Shan was so warm and welcoming the moment we walked into her kitchen. Shan was a fantastic host and chef. She was very knowledgable and open to answering all of our questions. Her selection of dishes was a complete Indian meal. Very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Chef Kira. She came fully prepared and had no trouble adjusting to our kitchen. She was fun, personable and kept the atmosphere light and entertaining. She gave us some great tips and really let us do the work with some direction but it felt very natural and smooth. The menu was scrumptious . Highly recommend and hope to do it again sometime!

WeвЂ™re the kind of people who think we know it all when it comes to cooking, but we truly gained some valuable tips and tricks on how to cook more efficiently and use leftover ingredients in a way weвЂ™ve never thought of. I had such a wonderful time with Chef Shan. She taught us how to make the most delicious meal. My favorite part was learning about Basmati rice. She was so incredibly kind and funny, and made myself and all the other guests feel like part of her family. She was very thoughtful and made sure we knew "her life is an open-book", she told us wonderful stories about her culture and her food. I will absolutely do another Cozymeal one day because of this experience. 10/10!

Read previous reviews they are accurate in the personality of chef Shan. The experience itself was one of a personal dinner party. I felt at home once she required me to interact with the spices and stirring of the sauce. The care and compassion for her story about home in India was displayed simply in the meal. She did not over complicate the meal. I felt as if my mother had cooked a home cooked meal for me and my wife. It was an experience that I could repeat at home. We did purchase a cookbook for memories. If you need a quick cozy date night this is something I recommend. If you are trying to be interactive with Indian cuisine try a cooking school or more comprehensive class.

We enjoyed our class with Chef Shan this past weekend. It was a group of 6. She was funny, charming and very great as an instructor. She really helped us understand the art of Indian cuisine and spices. The meal was absolutely lovely and well balanced with wonderful flavors. I would recommend her to anyone who loves Indian and would like to learn more. There is a book she has written and a tin of fresh spices you can buy. We will do it again. Robert & Justine
