What You’ll Do

Explore the cuisine of Northern Italy in this hands-on class with Chef Luca.

Sharing techniques learned from his family while growing up near Parma, Italy, Chef Luca takes you on a culinary tour of the Emilia-Romagna region as he teaches you to prepare an array of stunning Italian dishes exploring flavors such as extra virgin olive oil, 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino Romano, 25-year aged Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena and more.

First, you’ll create a torta fritta with prosciutto di Parma then dive into two homemade pasta recipes. Next, learn how to properly cook a beef filet with fresh vegetables, balsamic and more. For dessert, prepare vanilla gelato affogato, a sweetly satisfying ending to your savory exploration.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
