Cooking Class - Homestyle Korean Favorites
$ 125 Per person
all-inclusive: 3-hour class, 3-course meal.
Grow your culinary repertoire and learn how to make Korean recipes completely from scratch.
Fresh ingredients and unique flavors are on the menu in this interactive cooking class. Chef Chris will teach you how to make authentic Korean favorites that can be made vegetarian or with meat.
To begin the class, you'll make Korean omelette gyeran mari with toasted sesame seeds and garlic chives. Next, craft japchae, a stir fry dish with sweet potato glass noodles and vegetables, a bulgogi dish using oyster mushrooms or short ribs and a stuffed cucumber kimchi. Finish by preparing Korean cinnamon punch for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Sweet potato glass noodles with carrots, shiitake mushrooms, garlic, spinach, green onions, sugar and sesame oil

After discovering his passion for cooking as an Italian language instructor at UC Berkeley, Chef Chris went on to be the co-founder of a culinary event business, specializing in regional Italian cooking, and then worked as a chef teaching cooking classes for corporate groups, cultivating a 5-star rating. Chef Chris now works with a company providing walking food tours of Little Italy as well as teaching his lauded cooking classes.
