I cannot recommend Chef Wendy's classes highly enough! This was my second class with her at Sur La Table, and both experiences were nothing short of amazing. Chef Wendy has a unique ability to make cooking both approachable and fun, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere that makes everyone feel at ease. In this class, we dove into the cozy flavors of French comfort food, and every moment was an absolute delight. From learning to slow-roast beef for the most flavorful beef bourguignon to crafting a perfectly balanced side salad, every step was explained with patience and expertise. The grand finale—chocolate crêpes with chantilly cream—was the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable evening. Chef Wendy's passion for cooking shines through in every aspect of her teaching, and her friendly demeanor makes the experience all the more enjoyable. I walked away with not only new culinary skills but also a deeper appreciation for French cuisine. Bonus points for allowing us to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class—it made the evening feel even more special. If you're considering a cooking class, don't hesitate to book with Chef Wendy. She’s a true gem, and I’m already looking forward to my next class with her!
