Make a meal from Acapulco in this culinary session.
Explore the flavors of Coastal Mexican cuisine in this make a meal from Acapulco date night cooking class. A master chef will teach you how to make a zesty tequila and shrimp dish with mango relish. Pair the shrimp with poblano rice and grilled corn with chile-lime butter and queso fresco. End the class with a delightful cinnamon horchata ice cream.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Mitzie was terrific. She had everything prepared in advance so we could spend our time cooking, not measuring. a very hands on experience where she guided us and elaborated on the recipes and how to tweak them, exactly what flour and tomatoes to use (yes, it makes a difference), without trying to sell us anything. It was a small group to begin with (6 people) but one couple had to cancel and the other just didn't show up, so we wound up with our own private class for my husband's birthday!

What a great class. From the beginning with regard to explaining the different variations that we were going to make. Guiding us in the preparing of the ingredients and working with us in the cooking of the ingredients and how it all comes together. The end result the best getting to eat what we made. Delicious.
