I booked a session for my sister as her Christmas gift. We did the Asian Cuisine Class... Very fun and unique experience! Chef Mo was so kind and offered suggestions/feedback on what you do/don't like on your food. He explains why he does certain things when cooking and offers tips! Would definitely love to do again sometime. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Chef Mo clearly loves to cook and share his love for what he does with people... You will not regret it!

This was such an amazing and sweet time. I took my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday and loved the set up and how fun and social Mateus was. He was patient kind and knowledgeable. Before I was a bit apprehensive because I thought it was in an apartment but it was such a cute and cozy set up. Would definitely recommend and I actually think the price is more than fair.

Chef Katy showed me, my husband, and our 14 year old a great time. She was kind and knowledgeable. We enjoyed preparing dumplings in her fabulous kitchen and then supping on the fruits of our labor with new friends.

Chef Taka was absolutely incredible. He was at our place even a few minutes early. He explained the whole process to us and taught us about the sushi making process. He was very knowledgeable and patient as we are new to making sushi. The quality of the fish was awesome as well. Wish we could have him all the time to teach us more! Highly recommend!!

He made us feel right at home, it felt like a dinner party with friends but we learned so much about the art of cooking. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge in the culinary space. The food was delicious and the time went by so fast because we were having so much fun. The entire experience was so pleasant and would do it again in a heartbeat!

I would recommend this class to anyone who enjoys sushi! Chef Taka was amazing! He came fully prepared with everything we could possibly need. The amount of fish he brought was great! We had plenty enough for a whole second meal. The fish was fresh and tasted amazing on our hand made rolls and sashimi. This class was super fun. Not too difficult. But the chef made it amazing. So kind and encouraging. He really did a great job of teaching and explaining. CanвЂ™t wait to take more classes!

I made a reservation with Chef Pierre to surprise my girlfriend on her birthday and the whole experience, from beginning to end was delightful and fun! He tried a different menu than his typical class which made the experience even more special. My girlfriend does not eat shellfish or pork and he was able to accommodate with a very original menu. All the ingredients he used were authentic and he was kind enough to share his personal spices from different parts of the world. The menu was Asian-French infusion. For an appetizer we had his signature egg roll type cones with tuna, avocado, and signature sauce. We prepared a delicious green salad with soft and sweet beets, and for the main entree, a bed of french saffron rice with perfectly crafted layers of seasoned tuna, wasabi, Asian pickled vegetables and crisp seaweed on top. As an added note, each dish was carefully crafted using the full spectrum of colors! At the same time all the cooking and eating was taking place, he taught us a simple, yet delicious recipe for apple pie, which we later ate for dessert. My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed this experience, as the close one-on-one teaching was extremely helpful. Chef Pierre has great attitude and talent when it comes to teaching and food! We absolutely recommend it.

Chef Taka was absolutely incredible!! He was very professional, knowledgeable and so very nice. His sushi was amazing! I got this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and now we can both say we really know how to make sushi! He taught us how to cut the fish, make sushi rice, the whole nine yards- it was great!! Also, you get more sushi than you could dream of and it's all so so good! My boyfriend loved it!! Such a fun night! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a fun, interactive private sushi class! Thank you, Chef Taka!

I planned this experience for my husbands birthday. Chef Taka was amazing!! He was so friendly and brought ALL of the supplies to my house. I said he could use whatever he wanted from our kitchen, but he came equipped with it all on his own. Chef walked my husband and I through every step of the way. We were able to help with the prep, cut the fish on our own, make the rice and so much more. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Chef Taka for your next fun or special occasion. Thank you Chef! My husband said it was one of the best birthday gifts he's received.

The level of his professionalism and preparedness could not have been better and the fact that we were actively involved in every step of the sushi making process (except for the clean up!) leaves us confident that we could legitimately make our own sushi at home. Chef Jessica is so real and interesting, she really understands what it's like for a normal person to make dinner on the regular, the menu that I experienced I could make easily at home without much stress. Chef Taka was unbelievable! I set this up as a birthday present for my girlfriend and he definitely made it a an experience to remember. He came early to set up with everything we needed and made sure to accommodate all of our request so that everyone was happy. He even made a special vegetarian roll on the spot when he found out she didn't eat meat, but then made the most delicious special roll with Wagyu beef for me. All of the ingredients were super fresh and he was incredibly helpful in leading us through everything. He was very knowledgeable and taught us about why sushi restaurants do things certain ways. He also took pictures that he sent us afterwards, included an amazing salad and miso soup, and left us with plenty of leftovers after cleaning up. Overall, we were both very happy!

Chef Taka was amazing. He arrived early and had everything fully set up for the class right on time -- he brought everything from aprons to knives and cutting boards. We learned so much about all the prep that goes into sushi making and he made all of our favorite special requests. It was quite a feast and we had SO much left over, but we were all amazed at how much more delicious the sushi was freshly made than in any restaurant we had been to. Chef Taka was warm, gracious and very helpful and we will absolutely have him back in our home again. Don't miss this wonderful experience and delightful meal!

If you are looking to book a fun and educational sushi making class with an authentic Japanese chef, you should book with Chef Yoko. She is nice, very knowledgable and creates a fun cooking class environment. Her venue is centrally located in Downtown LA and not far away from all the happening in the city. Definitely a great cooking class that I recommend to anyone in Los Angeles. By the way, as a bonus, she also handed out Japanese ice cream that she had made which was divine.

Chef Maew was an absolute delight! First and foremost, her Thai food was absolutely delicious... I was in a food coma by the end of the lesson! And her venue was BEAUTIFUL. You could see the harbor from her living room! I will definitely take Chef Maew's class again.

Wow, what can I say about Chef Taka? I absolutely loved spending time with him! He is so funny and sweet, so nice to be around. And I learned so much from him! Chef Taka taught me how to make tamagoyaki (egg sushi) and even created a special roll just for me!

Chef Liila has the most beautiful, perfect property I have ever seen. It is completely full of edible trees, plants, and bushes -- it feels like some sort of incredible botanical garden where everything is edible. From kinds of guava I've never seen before to types of kale I've never heard of to a rare Brazilian fruit that was absolutely foreign to me, this property has everything. And her food! The flavors were so beautiful and thoughtful, and the presentations were great. I can't wait till it's warm again to try and make Chef Liila's granita!

This was such an informative and interesting class. Chef Senthil told us all about the spices used commonly in Indian cooking throughout the country, and about his family's own special spice blend. That exact blend went into our Chettinad Curry, a southern Indian take on a familiar dish, giving it a deep complexity without any cream or butter. We also learned about different eating styles between North and South, such as who eats more bread and who more rice. You'll just have to take the class to find out!

Chef Senthil's chicken curry is outstanding. Unlike tikka masala and several other curries I commonly order at restaurants, his Chettinad curry tasted incredibly wholesome without sacrificing any flavor. It was so much fun to learn from Chef Senthil about Indian spices and the differences between Northern and Southern Indian cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed every dish on the menu!

My brother and I took our mom and Auntie out for their first private cooking lesson! Easily one of the most memorable experiences! Chef Carole is a woman who's lived many lives and has great stories to tell The food was well planned and organized - she provided all the necessary ingredients, set up, tools. The night went super smooth. Her kitchen set up provides a fun and intimate environment - it's set up and made for cooking so this creates a great atmosphere. There was a lot of simple and small techniques that I believe anyone can utilize, regardless of cooking skills. The real plus however was getting to know Chef Carole. Nothing could prepare any of us for the stories and experiences she shared. It felt like we had a celebrity chef teaching us! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING TIME WITH HER She is a person you'll be telling all your friends about!
