Booked the class An Italian Date Night with Chef Mert in Los Angeles (Central LA)
I surprised my boyfriend with a cooking class for Valentine's Day gift and he absolutely loved it. Chef Mert was very welcoming, on time, organized and prepared for us to take his class. His directions were very clear both with his location and his cooking steps. It was our first cooking class and we were a little nervous but he gave us so many information about cooking; for example how to cut properly and tips for a meal to taste much better. We absolutely enjoyed the class and my boyfriend loved it! Menu was great and the food we made was delicious and very filling! Definitely go in hungry :) Thank you Chef Mert!!!!
Booked the class Handmade Pastry Creations with Marc V. in Sherman Oaks
We made a cake and a few pastries! The class was very intersting and fun. Marc really made the class enjoyable. I typically walk away with one or two good takeaways from cooking classes that I have taken in the past but I learned SO MUCH more from Marc in this class! He explained everything so well while making the experience intersting and fun and DELICIOUS!! I have already recommended this class to several people!! The class itself was very well orgonized and the space is very clean with a nice eating area. Really had a great experience and will try other classes as well!
Booked the class Simply Mediterranean with Chef David S. in Torrance

Booked the class Crafting Cozy Café Bakes with Chef Hannah
Chef Hannah was so great. It was my nieces 13th birthday and she loved this experience so much. We cooked so many great dishes and had fun learning some new techniques. Would definitely recommend for anyone interested in doing something new and learning some skills in the kitchen. Thanks again chef Hannah!
Booked the class Elegant French Fare with Chef Rebecca in Los Angeles (Mar Vista)
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our experience with Rebecca. The meal was delicious, yet simple enough that we can recreate it ourselves at home. Her home kitchen was the perfect size and we appreciated her straightforward direction and friendliness.
Booked the class Sophisticated Sushi with Marc V. in Sherman Oaks
We had such a fun time learning how to make sushi…a terribly fun experience!
Booked the class Distinctive Tastes of Thailand with Marc V. in Sherman Oaks
Kamilla, our chef was informative, attentive and very personable. She helped us make such easy yet rich flavorful Thai food. I liked that we got the option taste each food one at A time. The cooking class was everything I hoped for and more! We only had 3 tables which gave private feel which was perfect for my boyfriend’s birthday gift. However, one thing is that one of the participants turned out to be a live streamer and he was distracting. Chef and the class was perfect, but may be in the future, you pre-screen participants to see if they plan on bringing a full production. Otherwise, thank you for a wonderful experience!! Thank you, Kamilla!!!
Booked the class Vietnamese Cuisine Unpacked with Marc V. in Sherman Oaks
We had an amazing time! Our family of 8 cooked pho, spring rolls and crepes. Everything was delicious! Our chef was patient, fun & interactive. Will definitely do this again.
Booked the class Moroccan Chicken Tagine and More! with Chef Yasmina in Los Angeles (Culver City)
Our Moroccan cooking class with Chef Yasmina far exceeded our expectations. Yasmina is a great teacher, making sure everyone gets their needs and questions answered, and the food was truly amazing. Yasmina is an inspiring chef with a generous spirit - nothing was rushed and she even made an extra sauce just because we were interested. We left the class feeling confident that we could try these dishes at home, and that we also had learned much about cooking in general. We would highly recommend this class or anything that Chef Yasmina teaches.
Booked the class Ravioli Revelry with Chef Luana in Los Angeles (Central LA)
We made the best ravioli I’ve ever had! Chef Luana was very knowledgeable and professional
Booked the class Moroccan Chicken Tagine and More! with Chef Yasmina in Los Angeles (Culver City)
The evening with Chef Yasmina was more than just cooking and eating delicious food. Our time with Chef was an experience to last a lifetime, for real. Chef Yasmina was friendly and welcoming from start to finish. We experienced traditional Moroccan food, and Chef Yasmina shared history and stories along with everything she prepared (and taught us how to make) that made the evening a pure delight. We had chicken tagine and learned that one does not need to add liquids for the preparation, as the food, when cooked and prepared properly, creates its own flavorful broth that is beyond words. The eggplant caviar was softer than a cloud, and was seasoned in a way that was different from the chicken, yet the flavors provided the perfect compliment to the meal. And for dessert, we were treated to marzipan and fresh orange slices from her personal garden that were seasoned with a citrus liquid, cinnamon, and sesame seeds. Oh, let me not forget that we were greeted with farmer's cheese, olives, and toasts, along with a traditional green tea ceremony made with fresh mint and a wonderful story about the teapot and the centuries-old traditions surrounding the making and preparation of the tea. We cannot write enough superlatives about the evening and overall experience; we can only say that we hope everyone leaves with the same feelings we did.
Booked the class Voyage of Asian Flavors with Chef Carole in Culver City (Carlson Park)
This was my first cooking class with Cozymeal and it did not disappoint! It was hands down the best cooking class I’ve ever attended. Carole is an amazing host and teacher. We made Vietnamese spring rolls, Korean glass noodle stir fry and Thai sticky mango rice. My daughter and I learned about a variety of chef knives, how to hold chop sticks, food presentation, best ingredients and so much more. My favorite part was peeling a mango. The atmosphere was welcoming and super positive with an artsy vibe. Carole is an inspiring, passionate and creative culinary artist. Bottom line…so much fun. Take the class!

The experience was fun, pleasant, and truly special. I was very grateful for the opportunity to learn about the origins of everything and a bit of the history behind sushi, which made it even more meaningful. This experience was amazing. Chef Carole was very warm and a great teacher. This was my first cooking class and I learned so much, such as differences in knives, how to cut uniform vegetable, layer flavors, and general tips on better and more efficient cooking! It was really the conversations we had with Chef Carole that made this so special. This would be a great gift to anyone or for yourself!
Booked the class Handmade Pastry Creations with Marc V. in Sherman Oaks
This was by far one of the favorite classes my mom and I have ever taken, and we’ve done quite a few! Chef Marc was an absolute delight. The vibe was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The class framework was thoughtful, engaging, and incredibly well-executed. What truly sets this class apart is the attention to detail. Every aspect of the experience was immaculate. From the clear directions to the venue (complete with a contact number), to the interior setup, comfortable room temperature, and beautifully presented stations. The kitchen tools were high quality, ingredients were neatly laid out with laminated table cards, and even the table settings were on point. And as someone who comes from both an operations and creative background, I have to say: Chef Marc's recipe template is hands-down the best I’ve seen from any chef-led class. Every detail felt intentional and appreciated, no stone left unturned. Bravo, Chef Marc! This class deserves a standing ovation.

We weren’t exactly sure what to expect, but it was an awesome experience. We made sushi with Kamilla and it was soooo fresh, tasty, and fun! We really enjoyed learning different techniques and trying so many variations of sushi. It was a great time (and a lot of food - go hungry)! The cooking space was nice, too.
Booked the class Culinary French Flair with Chef Mo in West Covina (Walnut Valley)
The food was delicious and chef Mo was great! He was very welcoming and kind. He is very experienced and he was very good at sharing his knowledge. We walked into a dining room decorated for Valentine’s Day which was perfect because my husband and I decided to do this as our little celebration.

Chef Mert was A+! My wife gifted me an Italian Date Night cooking class, and from beginning to end it was an incredible experience. He explained every part of the process thoroughly, it was very interactive, he allowed us to ask questions, he was unbelievably knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. We will definitely be recommending all our friends book him, and one of my favorite experiences I have had. Thank you Chef!

Chef Mert was friendly and a great teacher. We loved the class and everything tasted amazing. I would highly recommend
Booked the class Fine Italian Dining with Chef Seyhan
She made us a warm salad, pizza, and crème brûlée! I did this to celebrate Father’s Day for my husband. It was nice to not have to leave the house since we had a baby with us. She was very organized, clean, hip cool and friendly! It made it nice and casual which my husband said he appreciated. She was also nice by complimenting us. She brought lots of produce that was organic and from the farmers market. She cleaned up everything after and my favorite part was that she left us a lot of leftovers! So we could multiple meals out of it! Everything was delicious! Multiple types of pizza too! And I’ve never had a warm salad, it was full of roasted veggies and this yummy green sauce! The crème brûlée was amazing too.
Booked the class An Italian Date Night with Chef Mert in Los Angeles (Central LA)
This cooking class was phenomenal from start to finish. Chef Mert is wonderful in every sense. Every minute was a blast from the hands-on cooking to the eating…obviously… to the overall vibe, which was relaxed, fun, and perfectly paced. The food was incredible. It was restaurant quality, but somehow approachable enough that we left feeling confident and inspired rather than intimidated. In fact, we were so fired up afterward that we bought our own pasta-making machine and have since made the dish multiple times, including for friends and family… and it’s been a huge hit every single time. That’s the real mark of a great class: not just a great time, but skills and memories you keep using long after. Total success. Highly recommend for anyone whether its a date night, hanging with friends, or just a love of amazing Italian food. We’d do it again in a heartbeat!!
Booked the class Moroccan Chicken Tagine and More! with Chef Yasmina in Los Angeles (Culver City)
Yasmina’s cooking class was the PERFECT way to connect and have a joy-filled, yummy new year's eve. The vibe was welcoming and friendly the moment we stepped in the door. We had some snacks of delicious farmers cheese spread on toasts with smokey harissa and olives — while she told us the stories and culture of each of these ingredients, the cooking tools and processes, and even the morrocan mint tea we sipped. The conversation flowed as we learned about her experiences in Morocco and elsewhere in the world, as well as sharing some of our own stories and experiences with her. The food was delicious (Chicken Tagine and cooked Eggplant Salad) and the ambiance was on point. 10/10 would recommend — I hope to return for another meal some day, and I look forward to getting her cookbook when it is published. Cheers! Thanks, Yasmina!

Booked the class Classic Cooking Techniques 101 with Chef Mert in Valley Glen
We had a wonderful birthday celebration dinner prepared and served by Chef Mert, who is easy-going, personable, and professional. I had asked Chef Mert to teach us knife skills which he prepared for by choosing a menu that required slicing, dicing, julienning and knife sharpening! We made a delicious vegetable soup (thickening secret = plain Greek yogurt with some flour mixed into it!) and a flavorful ratatouille with a pan-cooked chicken breast, cut up and tossed with the vegetables. Melt in your mouth goodness. Prior to that, Mert preheated the oven and prepared a whole chicken with plenty of garlic, pepper and salt, lemon and rosemary, rubbing the chicken liberally with olive oil. And while it cooked and we helped him prepare the soup, we opened and shared a bottle of wine. Mert cut up a panoply of fresh fruit, tossed in their own juices and refrigerated. While we enjoyed our soup (there was enough for seconds, and thirds on the next day), Mert plated the chicken and ratatouille. A perfectly roasted chicken, moist, tender and flavorful. We had enough left for 4 more meals. We were so happy and impressed that Mert cleaned up the dishes, counters and sink so well, and left our kitchen as clean and neat as he found it. He arrived shortly before 6pm to set up, and left a bit after 8:30. We helped ourselves to the fruit salad which tasted even better than expected, after half an hour in the refrigerator. The evening was great, as was Mert’s company. He is from Turkey and learned to cook from his grandmothers. Chef Mert has worked in first-rate kitchens but says he never went to cooking school. Shows you that good cooking is an innate talent. It would be fun to have him back to cook an authentic Turkish meal! Kudos to Chef Mert and CozyMeals. P.S. We gave Mert a tip in person.
Booked the class Vegan French Cooking with Chef Cregg in Los Angeles (South Los Angeles)
I had the pleasure of booking Chef Cregg for a private Mother's Day French vegan cooking experience with my mom and it was absolutely fantastic! Chef Cregg's cooking space was inviting and equipped with top notch equipment and high quality vegan ingredients. His instructions were superb and he provided excellent support throughout. Chef Cregg's warm and kind personality made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a lot of fun and learned so much. It was a memorable Mother's Day that we will cherish forever. I highly recommend Chef Cregg, even for non vegans. The food was delicious and eye opening, showcasing the possibilities of plant-based eating. The three-hour experience was perfectly curated and the meals were incredibly decadent. We left feeling stuffed and satisfied. Chef Cregg's culinary skills are truly exceptional - the flavors and textures of the dishes were outstanding. You won't be disappointed with his cooking! I highly recommend booking him for a unique and delicious culinary journey.

Booked the class A Focus on Handmade Dough with Chef Mert in Anaheim Hills
Chef Mert was great. Pleasant and interactive with us. We learned about him as a Chef and as a person outside of cooking. We did a focus on homemade dough. Great meal and fun to do a few of the things Chef Mert had us do. He is excellent.
Booked the class A Focus on Handmade Dough with Chef Mert in Los Angeles (West LA)
We had a great time with Mert, and learned a lot. He was right on time, and well prepared, and had thorough printed recipes to follow along with. Because two of his doughs needed proofing, he brought some pre-made doughs which we baked, and then he had us make fresh doughs that we could bake off later. There were lots of opportunities for hands-on experience, which was something I was hoping for. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend Mert's classes, and look forward to taking another class in the future.
Booked the class Vegan French Cooking with Chef Cregg in Tarzana
I can't say enough great things about Chef Cregg! I booked him for a private lesson with my wife and I for her birthday and we were so happy with the night. Not only was the food delicious, he taught us great skills, introduced us to new methods of cooking and he brought great energy and vibes the whole night! We are already talking about other dates to work with him again, maybe even with more people because he's a gem that more people need to meet. Highly, highly recommend! And for context, we had the French Vegan Dinner, which was INCREDIBLE. My wife and I are both vegan and he made sure that we were well taken care of. We also had plenty of leftovers which we really appreciate as meal preppers ourselves.
