Great! Exceeded my expectations. Chef Marty provides a charismatic experience that helps you understand not only how to cook like a chef, but I would argue, she teaches you how to think like a chef, paying attention to so many details I would normally overlook. Her approach is holistic, paying attention to timing, color, texture, aroma, even ambient humidity! And so much more that I learned last night, I can't list them all here. So many things go into what you see on the plate, and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher to help me appreciate the art of cooking. High recommendations from Zen. Thanks again Marty. I'll have to bust out my fresh pasta making skills for friends and family one of these days.

Chef Stacy was incredible! We had an amazing lesson on vegan sushi. Stacy was easy going and provided excellent instruction, and made the most of our small kitchen space (don't feel like you can't do this if you have a small kitchen- ours is tiny and she made it work effortlessly!). My fiance bought this as a birthday present and it was by far my favorite gift! Now we have the skills we need to make vegan sushi at home any time. Stacy is a delight. Thank you!!!

This was my second class with Chef Laura, and once again, it was a great cooking experience! She has a wonderful way of combining warmth and friendliness with a clear, thoughtful approach to cooking. I always appreciate how she not only shares plenty of helpful tips but also takes the time to explain the reasoning behind each step, which really helps deepen my understanding. The dishes we made were absolutely delicious !!! (Steak with Salad, Beef Empanada, and Lava Cake) â€”I canâ€™t wait to recreate them for my family! Iâ€™m already looking forward to my next class with her. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn, improve, and have a great time doing it!

Thank you Chef Sha Sha! We had a fabulous experience! Chef Sha Sha came to my house to teach us ladies how to make Bruschetta, Cannoli, and ravioli with tomato sauce (yum!!) from scratch. This was a birthday shindig. There were 5 of us. I have a small kitchen, but she was flexible with the workflow and made it happen. She stayed over the scheduled 3hr time because she took her time with each of us on the pasta machine. She's very patient, thorough, attention to detail, and ensured each of us was hands. She even quizzed us throughout. :) Chef explained the whys, the hows, the don'ts, and suggested options and alternatives. She is so personable and pleasant; good times! It really was a fun and unique experience. Our food came out picture perfect and sooo tasty! We highly recommend Chef Sha Sha for any cooking lessons.

The girls loved learning the tips and tricks ShaSha included with her lessons that I know they will remember as they venture onto cooking for from-scratch dishes. I attended this class with my partner to celebrate our anniversary and have nothing but positive remarks. He adjusted the recipes to our restrictions/preferences (I'm gluten-free and vegetarian). He communicated about each step, gave us tips on knife skills (etc.), and connected with us. We also really enjoyed sitting down and sharing a meal with Chef Jordan and his partner. Thanks for a great class and for welcoming us. If you're debating whether or not this class will be worth it, debate no longer. Also, the food was impeccable.

We had such a lovely experience with Chef Jordon on Thanksgiving for his Indian cooking class. We learned great techniques and information on all the ingredients! Plus, every dish was so flavorful and delicious! And his home overlooking the lake is serene. He went above and beyond to make our holiday memorable. My family and I had the best time with Chef Supranee during our cooking class! She was so kind and welcoming and we immediately felt so comfortable talking and cooking with her! Thai food is something we have always wanted to learn how to cook and this class did not disappoint! We cooked 4 amazing dishes together and learned just how easy Thai food can be to make! All the food tasted incredible and I personally was obsessed with the panang curry! Don't hesitate to book a class with Chef Supranee! She is the best!!

Chef Jarrett is the absolute best! His cooking class was fun, informative and interactive. Not to mention the food is DELICIOUS and he left extra for us! He explained everything in detail, demonstrated, let us try our hand at it, and made it work perfectly for 4 people (and 2 pups). Plus he was very accommodating when we had to move things last minute due to my Dad being rushed to the hospital the night before our scheduled class - will forever appreciate how kind and understanding he was to move our booking last minute. Will 100% book with Chef Jarrett again! He is one of the good ones, our friends enjoyed t so much too, and that Sweet Fig and Burrata Crostini was mouth-watering delicious. Plus rolling out the pasta is just fun!

Our experience with Chef Jordan was a perfect blend of a fine culinary session and back yard bbq. We kicked things off with a special cacao opener. We learned useful prep techniques, enjoyed 3 courses of organic and responsibly sourced food, garden fresh herbs, and specially made sauces. We enjoyed steak frites with a lakeside sunset view and finished with a wonderous dessert with surprising ingredients. It was an evening full of music, clean upper scale food, useful information, great conversation, and generous left overs. Truly elevating!

My wife and I really enjoyed our class with Chef Laura! I had tried to book this class in the past but it was cancelled due to Chef Laura's kitchen remodel, which turned out great. She was very gracious in trying to re-schedule our class and making it work for us. Although we couldn't make it work that time, we were finally able to attend her class and I'm glad we did. The food was excellent and we had tons of leftovers. And Chef Laura did a great job of explaining why she did things the way she did and answering all of our questions. Highly recommend!

This in-home experience exceeded expectations. Chef ShaSha exudes professionalism and industry knowledge. She was amazing and very patient with our 6 year old that joined in on the fun of making homemade pasta. The food turned out amazing and my wife and I learned so much about how pasta should taste versus what we were used to. We cannot recommend enough both this course and Chef ShaSha! Another class is definitely in our future!

Chef Krong was amazing to learn from! She came ready to hit the ground running, we were into prep and cooking in the first few minutes! She was incredibly warm and fun, and so easy to connect with. It felt more like cooking with a really talented and patient friend. The recipes were simple and delicious, and we feel confident we could make them again on our own with the techniques we picked up. It was also great to learn more about Thai ingredients we have been curious about!

Rachel was a fantastic teacher. She worked with me and my wife as part of the Fundamental Dessert Techniques course, which included preparation of panna cotta, cheesecake, and crÃ¨me brÃ»lÃ©e. Rachel was a patient and informative instructor, and allowed my wife and me to do all procedures ourselves, stepping in for occasional recommendations. She had a good balance of advising on technical specifics while also giving us room to do each step ourselves, even if we were imperfect at certain stages. All recipes were doable for non-professionals like us, tasted great, and generated reasonable dessert portion sizes for two people without having too much excess. Rachel brought nearly everything we needed, and coordinated with me a week in advance on what we would need and what she could bring, and nothing was missing when it came time to prepare the recipes. Rachel was parked near our complex before the appointment time, and came in right on time and was ready to go. She was patient as well while my wife and I were still getting our daughter settled in for the evening and switching off for the first 20 minutes or so. Everything was done within 2 hours on the dot, and that was with some recipes taking longer than planned in our oven. I would highly recommend this course if you are looking for an interesting date night, or have an anniversary or birthday/similar coming up for a partner who loves to cook/bake (or at least the idea of it!). Rachel was a pleasure to have in our home, and we look forward to taking one of her other classes sometime!

Chef Sha was absolutely amazing! I booked her for my one year anniversary, and tailored the menu to what I thought my boyfriend would enjoy. CHef Sha worked graciously with me to plan the perfect meal. She had prepared the most delicious Sicilian red sauce with sausage and beef braciole prior to coming to my apartment to make the rest of the meal. Once she arrived, we made caprese salad, lemon panna cotta, and the best part was the homemade fettucine!! She gave me and my boyfriend so many helpful tips in preparing food as well as presentation. I learned so much without feeling instructed. My boyfriend told me it was the best anniversary gift he has ever been given! Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!!

Chef ShaSha was amazing! I purchased a private, in home cooking class for my parents as a (Mother's Day and dad's birthday) present. It was a wonderful experience. They made ravioli from scratch and Chef ShaSha brought all the supplies and ingredients. She was a patient teacher, allowing my family to participate as much or as little as they liked. My parents made a last minute addition, inviting two other guests and Chef ShaSha was most accommodating. She called ahead of time to make sure that the menu was everything we wanted and finalized details assuring us that everything was on track and ready to go. A relief for someone trying to coordinate from a few states away. I will be calling her again!

Great cooking class and experience. It was good to hear the history that Chef Marty shared about Italy and also her herb garden. Everything was really well planned out and it was great meeting new people and sharing dinner with them as well. Also there is absolutely no issue with the porta potty, super clean and Chef Marty even offer us her personal bathroom if we wanted.
