I canвЂ™t say enough good things about this experience. I purchased a three-hour cooking class with Chef Gustavo as a surprise gift, and my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. Between Chef GustavoвЂ™s engaging personality and artful, patient instruction, itвЂ™s hard to identify the best part of the experience, but we couldnвЂ™t have walked away more satisfied with the food or the instructor. The entire experience felt like cooking with a friend. At first, I was just interested in learning how to make ceviche dishes, but after tasting everything he taught us to make, I can honestly say I would make each of these dishes again. Everything tasted spectacular, and he made the learning fun and relaxing. The stories Chef Gustavo shared during the class were also incredibly informative and memorable. I never felt rushed at all. Chef Gustavo demonstrated his techniques and how to make the dish, then set us off on our own to try the recipes while always attentively being close by if we ever needed help. He made us feel like we were family. As for getting my moneyвЂ™s worth? Yes, yes, and Yes! The value was outstanding. The level of confidence that this class gave me to make these dishes again was priceless. You can teach technique, but itвЂ™s hard to teach confidence. Chef Gustavo somehow did it, though. So thank you, Chef Gustavo, for the confidence you gave us and this fun and memorable learning experience. To anyone whoвЂ™s thinking of taking this class in the future, I highly recommend it. You will not regret it. I already plan to sign us up for another class later this year, and I would have no hesitation to recommend any class Chef Gustavo is facilitating.

We had a great time with Chef Gustavo and the food was delicious!! His cooking space was terrific and the ingredients were very fresh. We learned a number of new tips and techniques for both food prep and shopping for the best ingredients, including fresh fish. I have definitely overcome my fear of making ceviche! We loved his stories about his background and culture, which added a richness to the whole experience. Thanks again, Chef, for a great evening!

Chef Meg was a wonderful host with a fun kitchen and full of little tips for preparing and serving delicious food! I'm biased to like dark meat poultry so of course I loved the duck, and geeked out about the deviled eggs and chocolate mouse. My date loved the food and got along famously with the Chef, and we both loved our time. Would do again!

This is the second year my wife and I decide to do a Cozymeal night out to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Chef Meir did not disappoint us. We had great evening, chopping it up, talking food and preparing a juicy chicken dinner that included a salad with an amazing vinaigrette and delicious onion parsnip soup. Chef Meir showed us how to take simple ingredients and cook up a delicious meal...and we had fun along the way. Thank you, again, Chef Meir and Cozymeal.

I absolutely LOVED the Cozymeal experience! Chef Sally was so kind and she took us through the steps really well. She gave us a lot of good tips and the food was amazing! It was nice because the food was delicious and Chef Sally was also really personable and fun to chat with. At the end of the meal, she even cleaned up all the dishes so we didnвЂ™t have to worry about the mess! I thought that was such a nice touch and it took away all of the stress of having to clean up afterwards. I booked Cozymeal as a surprise birthday gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. He said the experience was so much fun and a great memory. My overall experience with Cozymeal was wonderful. The booking was easy and making changes to my booking was super easy as well. I definitely plan on using Cozymeal again. I think itвЂ™s such a fun experience and we had a really great time.

Chef Meg was awesome. I loved her energy and her home is extremely welcoming. She made the cooking experience very comfortable. Allowed us to participate and welcomed us into her kitchen as if it were our own. The meal was exceptional and Doug was also a great asset with the experience. Judith truly went above and beyond expectations, and she really made us feel like we werenвЂ™t lacking or idiots for not knowing simple cooking techniques. She really tried to leave us with skills we could repeat, and she made my boyfriend and I feel like we were just cooking with friends on a normal Friday night. The food was wonderful, Chef Gustavo has good stories and practical cooking tips. The octopus was my favorite. Chef has a secret trick on how to cook perfect octopus. You'll have to take the class to learn the secret! I usually do not eat raw onions, but Chef showed us how to prepare the onion so that it tastes milder. All and all it was fun and again the food was wonderful.

Meg was FANTASTIC!! As soon as I met her, I instantly knew why she received 5 95-star reviews. She has an infectious personality, gave us a wonderful birthday experience, and the duck and deviled eggs she taught us how to prepare was simply delightful. Her space was magical, and her communication skills are top-notch. She was absolutely lovely to converse with and we had an amazing time celebrating my fiancee's birthday. She came in with all the bowls/whisks/measuring cups/supplies and all the ingredients, walked us through making pastry and other sweets from scratch, and somehow managed to clean as she went, leaving the kitchen spotless! For my husband's birthday, I decided to surprise him with a Cozymeal experience. He loves to cook, so this was right up his alley. We had 4 couples join us and made a date night of it. Chef Kenny was excellent and entertaining. His knowledge of food and his culinary skills had us mesmerized and intently participating with questions, discussion, and laughter! We are not complete freshmanвЂ™s in cooking, and usually experiment a lot and cook new dishes every few weeks. But it was an amazing class! I definitely will use technique for cooking baked potatoes every time I cook them. Chef JudithвЂ™s kittchen is very bright and modern and was a pure pleasure to cook there. We will definitely look into taking more classes through the CozyMeal.

Our evening/date night with Chef Meg (and Doug) was incredible! Meg immediately made us feel welcome at home and kept the food and laughs coming all night. We had the bison meatloaf and deviled eggs - both were delicious and the recipes (which you get to take home) are easy enough to replicate. Chef Meg was quite simply the best. My wife and I loved having her over and cannot recommend her enough to others looking for an incredible experience. Chef Meg was a fantastic teacher who gave useful tips for both the meal itself and other random cooking questions we lobbed at her. It quickly felt like we were just having a close friend over for dinner, as she was so easy to talk to and get to know. The food was amazing...we wish all our fine dining experiences in DC were half as good as the one Chef Meg was able to create in our own home. The duck was paired with a sauce that took the dish to a whole new level, and her surprise addition of bacon to deviled eggs was inspired. Book her as soon as you can! You will love it.
