Chef Meg was a wonderful host with a fun kitchen and full of little tips for preparing and serving delicious food! I'm biased to like dark meat poultry so of course I loved the duck, and geeked out about the deviled eggs and chocolate mouse. My date loved the food and got along famously with the Chef, and we both loved our time. Would do again!

Chef Meg was not only a great chef, but also a great hostess! She had so much energy and it made it easy to socialize with the other guests as well. The food was, of course, amazing and the she even told us where to get the harder to find ingredients. Chef Bobby was excellent, couldn't have had a better time! He was on time, checked in with me prior to arriving to ensure that he had all the details correct, and was the friendliest guy imaginable. He was great at explaining what he was doing and why, giving us a chance to ask questions about it or any other cooking questions. He made us very comfortable and the food was incredible! Chef William was great! My wife and I are both pretty good cooks, and we still both learned a lot! Chef William was very warm, welcoming, and great at explaining what we were doing, why, and how it all worked and would come together. The final result was magnificent. 10/10 experience.

Our experience was great! The duck was the best weвЂ™d ever had. IвЂ™m still thinking about it 2 days later. Chef Meg was great as well! It was the right mix of learning, relaxing, and enjoying. Meg was FANTASTIC!! As soon as I met her, I instantly knew why she received 5 95-star reviews. She has an infectious personality, gave us a wonderful birthday experience, and the duck and deviled eggs she taught us how to prepare was simply delightful. Her space was magical, and her communication skills are top-notch. She was absolutely lovely to converse with and we had an amazing time celebrating my fiancee's birthday. Chef Meg was quite simply the best. My wife and I loved having her over and cannot recommend her enough to others looking for an incredible experience. Chef Meg was a fantastic teacher who gave useful tips for both the meal itself and other random cooking questions we lobbed at her. It quickly felt like we were just having a close friend over for dinner, as she was so easy to talk to and get to know. The food was amazing...we wish all our fine dining experiences in DC were half as good as the one Chef Meg was able to create in our own home. The duck was paired with a sauce that took the dish to a whole new level, and her surprise addition of bacon to deviled eggs was inspired. Book her as soon as you can! You will love it.

My husband and I had a WONDERFUL experience with Chef William for the French Indulgences lesson. Chef William put us at ease immediately and was a terrific instructor. As we made the courses, he taught us specific techniques for preparing different ingredients (ex., how to do tomato concasse, julienne onions, deglaze a pan when making sauces, etc). Chef William was easy to talk to and by the end it felt like cooking with an old friend! My husband and I loved each dish that we made and felt that it was definitely a worthwhile experience. One note - our lesson was the weekend of the crazy windstorm in DC. We actually ended up losing power towards the end (the whole street was out!) when we were eating course #4, but Chef William powered through like a total champ and turned our dinner into a romantic candlelit setting. A great experience all around and would definitely recommend.

On Valentine's day, chef Shelley and host West gave us an experience to remember. Upon entry , we we were welcomed with great excitement. The host welcomed us in to her own home making us feel very comfortable. The chef introduced herself and began describing the agenda for the menu. The chef spent her time informing us of the culture behind the food that we were going to cook which made it much more engaging and intimate. Chef Shelley did an awesome job with helping us prep the meal; along with teaching us some of her unique techniques. This was a great experience and we definitely recommend for couples who are looking for an intimate , warm welcoming and enlightening class.

I'm still thinking of the beef and mushroom we had in Chef Laura's cooking class during our trip to Washington, DC. Laura is a very experienced and super nice chef. She knows a lot, can explains things well and can really help you make delicious dishes (as she demonstrated in the case of the beef with mushrooms) that are much better than the food in almost all restaurants. I also like her style of cooking which is low in fat and rather healthy especially for a red meat dish. The mushroom soup also turned out to be delicious although maybe a little bit too salty - but don't worry, you can always make the stock thinner as the chef explained ;)

Such a great experience! Purchased for my fiancГ© as a Christmas gift. Chef Benoit came to our home, we had a spectacular meal and learned how to make the three course with the Roasted Branzino in Almond Parmesan Crust. Chef Shelley was really nice and kept us busy. There was a lot of education on the food and I learn a lot on how to season and purchase of food. She was very professional and fun. She kept us laughing with stories and getting to know us all. The experience with booking was great and very easy. I love the communication on cozymeal between the chef. It was very easy to have access to her if we had any questions or concerns. I enjoyed the cocktail and Emily in Paris French theme meal. It was delicious and would love to come back. Chef BenoitвЂ™s Elegant French Meal class was a delightful experience! He was kind, polite, enthusiastic, and welcoming to the class. He is not only an excellent cook but also an outstanding teacher! The class focused on French cuisine. Chef Benoit provided each one of the participants with a hands-on experience, one-on-one instructions on properly cutting the fish and vegetables, preparing a delicious sauce, and mixing ingredients, among other important details. He carefully explained each step of the process to create a tasty and delicate three-course dinner menu. The end result was a delicious dinner elegantly served by Chef Benoit in the cozy ambiance of his home. I had a pleasant, fun, and enriching experience! Today I celebrated my birthday with my daughter at Chef BenoitвЂ™s home. Him and his wife were very inviting and made us comfortable from the time we arrived. He was very accommodating by making changes to the original menu due to my diet restrictions, although it was last minute changes, everything turned out delicious!!!
