The donut class was an AMAZING experience that I could not recommend highly enough! Chef Meg is hilarious and makes the class extremely engaging, and her dog Doug was an adorable sous-chef. I will certainly be back to take a class with her again!

I booked Meg's class for my (long-distance) partner's birthday and he ABSOLUTELY loved it! Meg was very accommodating beforehand as I wanted to keep this a surprise for him :) He had a great time (and banter) with her (and her wonderfully cute dog) - what I would do to have one of those doughnuts!!! Next time im in DC i will definitely be booking a class with Meg, and I recommend you do too!!

I purchased a class with chef Meg for my husbandвЂ™s birthday. We learnt how to make donuts, and that was a fun experience! It would be fun to do everything ourselves (including mixing the dough, frying the donuts) but I understand that the format is a bit different and it would take much longer. So I appreciate that everything went well and smoothly. Chef Meg is a charming and very pleasant person.

This cooking class was a ValentineвЂ™s Day gift for my husband who is a HUGE donut lover. Cheif Meg was absolutely phenomenon. She was professional and friendly, made us feel very comfortable from the beginning to the end. The donuts were so so sooooo good! Even my husband said it was the best donuts he ever had. I loved every single moments during the class. Thank you so much for the wonderful time today!! I joked about giving her 1 star today. My girlfriend and I had so much fun making donuts with Chef Meg (and her little dog, too)! Meg made us feel right at home and comfortable as soon as we walked in. She walked us through what we'd be doing, then coached us as we started making glazes and the dough. The final product was delicious and way too much to eat in one night! Along the way, Meg was very entertaining and shared many hilarious stories, as well as several helpful cooking tips. We had a lot of fun and got a lot out it, so I would highly recommend!

Chef Meg was kind, friendly, and engaging. She helped us when we needed it but also let us take charge. The donuts we made were absolutely fabulous: rich, crunchy, and soft. Her selected glaze flavors were delicious! She offered practical tips and useful skills, such as how Jacques Pepin cracks an egg. We had a really great time!

I went to Chef Meg's donut making class for Valentines Day with my boyfriend. We had an absolutely lovely experience with Chef Meg (and of course her adorable dog Doug). Her expertise and professional experience was very impressive, but even more so, she is a patient and caring teacher. We had great conversation, and amazing donuts to both snack on there and take home. Highly recommend Chef Meg's class!

I would highly recommend doing a class with Meg! I signed up myself and my best friend for her donut making class and we had so much fun. Meg was very funny, easy to get along with, and had a lot of good kitchen advice. We hope to do more classes with her soon.

Chef Meg was a great host and teacher and gave awesome tips on cooking in general as well as specific tips for the doughnut making process. Chef Meg is absolutely amazing! This was my first time working with a chef, and she made the entire process go seamlessly. She was incredibly welcoming, patient and willing to answer any questions. She guided us throughout the entire process and made me feel like I was a rock star in the kitchen for the first time in my life. Her helpful tips along the way and her great sense of humor had us engaged and excited to learn more the entire time. My boyfriend and I could not stop talking about how much fun we had when we returned, and we literally found ourselves telling everyone we bumped into about our wonderful experience. The donuts that we made were so delicious that we ate almost all of them before we left. Although this was out first time meeting Chef Meg, we left feeling like we had known her forever because of her warm personality. Thank you, Chef Meg, for making it such a memorable experience! Our experience with Chef Meg was wonderful! Very friendly and engaging! As someone who is hesitant when it comes to baking, she answered all of my questions regarding the science behind baking as well as giving us useful tips. The doughnuts, the glaze, ganache, and filing were all heavenly! And the leftover doughnuts were still (almost) as good the following day

I loved Chef Meg! She was very friendly and responsive, even helping me figure out how to reach her apartment. She (and her adorable dog) kept my boyfriend and me entertained the whole two hours, as she has a wonderful personality and interesting personal stories. That being said, I thought this experience would be more "hands-on", as stated in the event description. Instead, my boyfriend and I idly sat for 1.5 hours as we watched Chef Meg do a host of things, before we finally got to participate in the last part of glazing the donuts. The donuts turned out to be delicious, though, since Chef Meg is truly a talented chef!
