Chef Ken was great-had a relaxed easygoing but professional manner. He came with everything he needed short of a blender which we provided for and assorted pots/pans. We learned a lot-and were put to work in a fun voluntary manner..our groups got their hands dirty from time to time but Ken also cooked/kept things moving forward as we were also catching up while watching/learning. I was impressed by the time saving use of the blender and various shortcuts learned to save time/effort that provided delicious results! Chef Ken taught us how easy some of these dishes were to make-incredible arancini in a marinara sauce, a fantastic Caesar salad w homemade dressing, homemade gnocchi in a Gorgonzola sauce, and delicious homemade cannoli w chocolate chip ricotta filling! He did a great job of passing tips and tricks along the way.. Our group learned a lot and agreed we would like to recreate some of these dishes at home again. I would recommend working w Chef Ken for your next cooking lesson/dinner party!

Review of Cooking Class at Chef Jaime’s Home We had the great pleasure of attending a cooking class in Chef Jaime's clean, cozy, and welcoming apartment, which featured a large kitchen and a beautiful center island with granite countertops—perfect for group cooking. We prepared vegan empanadas, guacamole, and a delicious veggies stew, sauces, etc. all under Chef Jaime's expert guidance and supervision. Chef Jaime’s enthusiasm and energy truly set the tone for a fantastic experience. She was incredibly organized, managing the class smoothly and keeping us on track without ever making it feel rushed. What really stood out was her ability to engage with participants of all experience levels, from beginners to more seasoned cooks, making sure everyone felt included and valued. Her positive, supportive attitude created an environment that was not only instructive but also fun and encouraging. What a super unique and personal experience! I booked this a birthday gift for my husband, and the both of us loved all 3 courses. Besides meal leftovers, we were given extra ingredients (sauce, dough, cheese, etc.) to keep and use for later - that was an unexpected but lovely surprise. Chef Denis was very accommodating and personable with plenty of stories to share. I would book again for other cuisines!

Dinner with chef lamour was terrific. She was friendly, helpful, very interesting and the food was amazing! The only thing I would say is that this was more of a private chef dinner as opposed to a cooking class. We helped somewhat with preparation and lamour certainly answered any questions we had and gave us various tips, but it was less of a class than we expected. This is not meant as a negative as we had an absolutely wonderful evening! Just Putting it out there so folks know what to expect.

Aside, from the joys of learning new knife skills, food nutrition, and how to make a simple but tasty vinaigrette and chocolate filled spanakopita, we also discussed life and philosophies. It was truly a unique and fun experience. Even more, Chef Lamour made everything from scratch and was able to provide a menu that met my wife’s nutritional needs for her diabetes. We are so grateful to have had her as our first experience and introduction to CozyMeal! She was truly fabulous!
