What You’ll Do

Discover a world of Japanese culinary techniques as you prepare maki, summer rolls and nigiri.

Practice and perfect your knife skills for a mouthwatering meal of sushi and nigiri. In this cooking class, Chef Justin will demonstrate and teach the proper techniques for making delicate, symmetrical slices of fresh fish to go in or on sushi rolls or sticky rice.

Learn how to make two different rolls like a pro: Sushi rolls, using a traditional bamboo mat, and shrimp summer rolls with flexible rice paper. Next, you'll masterfully wield chef knives as you slice fresh fish to enjoy nigiri style, and end by tasting creamy strawberry mochi ice cream.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Had an AMAZING time with Chef Justin. So sweet and genuine, and he knew what he was doing. He is very professional and neat, and came perfectly on time and engaged with all of us. Could not recommend any higher!

Chef Justin is very funny and engaging. He taught us some sushi making techniques and had more than enough sushi for two meals. Best sushi I have ever had and we walked away having learned a few tricks that we are planning to try on our own.
