Booked the class Japanese Seafood Skills with Chef Ryan in South Bay & Peninsula (East San Mateo)
Chef Ryan walked us through the whole culinary experience like the professional he is, clearly explaining every step with humor and giving us tips for when we cook at home. Everything we made was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, and we can’t wait to try to replicate it! As a bonus, he even rolled with it when we (accidentally) showed up half an hour early. Wonderful experience, will definitely be booking again. Thank you!

Chef Andrea was an excellent instructor. I especially appreciated that after she would display how to pleat the siu mai and har gow skin, she came around each table to give assistance to those who needed help. Also, qwhen the har gow flour didn't work out, she was prepared for plan B. Her helpers also helped make the class run smooth. The class was fun!!!

Chef Ryan kindly greeted us at his apartment... Everything was all set up and ready to go! He patiently walked us through each recipe and was super informative about all the ingredients and preparation. My mom and I enjoyed every second. We loved the unique flavors that Chef Ryan used and how he incorporates his own self expression into his dishes. A true artist! I would highly recommend this class.

I booked a Japanese themed cozymeal with chef Ryan as a surprise for my husband's birthday. We arrived to his apartment, where he then guided us to the spacious community room. All of the ingredients and tools were setup for us to get started, as we turned on some fun music to cook to. Overall, the food was amazing and extremely fresh. I left SO FULL and we got to take home the leftovers! I learned new techniques and how to work with crab. Chef Ryan was professional, knowledgeable, and also down to earth and friendly. Thanks for the fun night, chef!

Don't let Chef Ryan's mild manner and calm demeanor fool you-- he's a ninja with a chef's knife! His experience working at Michelin rated restaurants give him the skills and knowledge to carve up delicious dishes. I was amazed to find out that he makes his own vinegar and polishes his rice for his Maki rolls and you can really taste the difference! Everything tasted fresh with amazing textures! If you're looking for a place to learn how to make sushi or just have a good time at his space, don's pass up a chance to hang with Chef Ryan!
Booked the class Craft Beginner Dumplings with Chef Andrea in South Bay & Peninsula (Palo Alto)
Had it been posted the class was in Palo Alto I never would have signed up for it. I’ve taken many classes there in the past year and it hasn’t been a good experience. I was very disappointed this was not stated up front.
Booked the class The Art of Ramen with Chef Andrea in South Bay & Peninsula (Palo Alto)
We cooked Ramen in Palo Alto William Sonoma store with Chef Michael. I was a part of Adam's group of 10. The noodles were not edible but the broth and pork were delicious. Due to the rubbery noodles, there was mention of receiving a refund but we have not heard back yet. Thank you.
