Chef Tanya

One of the best meals ever! And so much fun!!!

Chef Tanya is--and I can't emphasize this enough--the absolute BEST. My friends and I learned so much and had the best time hearing her stories and chatting with her. She is such a ray of sunshine and made all of us laugh nonstop. We had a gnocchi dinner it was so incredibly delicious! 11/10 recommend!!

Can't say enough positive things about this class. Chef Tonya is such a great teacher, chef, motivator, comedian. This was a perfect experience for our group. I was particularly impressed how she talked of how we could modify the ingredients or approach slightly to create vastly different things.

Tanya was amazing! I booked this as a gift for my niece and wasn’t quite sure how she’d take to a cooking class. Tanya was so great with instructions and was so nice and welcoming to my niece. After the meal, my niece asked if we could do this every year. Highly recommend!

Chef Tanya was superb! She exceeded our expectations. She taught me some basics, answered all my questions without overloading me with information that I didn't need. She had us work with her but she did most of the cooking. She wouldn't allow me to assist in the clean-up insisting that I eat while the food was hot. And the food was DELICIOUS! We have enough for a second night, which I am looking forward to. After eating, what better way to end the meal in your home with a spotless kitchen. I will definitely be looking for a return visit from this incredible Chef!

Chef Tanya was fantastic. She was on time, prepared, is a great teacher with an engaging personality... and best of all the food was amazing. She did just the right amount of work to make each course fun but give us the sense that we could to this ourselves. We has a group of 7, ranging in age from 16 to 56 and she had everyone engaged and enjoying themselves. We did this in our kitchen and she fit right in, and was instantly comfortable, even when there was a tool or utensil that we didn't have. I would definitely do this again and highly recommend Chef Tanya.

This review is a year late in the making but we really wanted to make sure everyone knows Tanya is a fantastic chef and teacher. She was very personable and knowledgeable. My wife and I had a great time making gnochi's together. We were stuffed and had several meals' worth of delicious leftovers. A memorable experience and meal!

So for starters she was AMAZING! I’m so glad I picked her! Chef Tanya contact with me prior to the class. She was on time, clean, so much fun and still professional at the same time! It was lovely to have Chef Tanya in our home and the food was delicious. She had lots of little tidbits about cooking technique to teach us, and gave us enough experience to attempt to repeat the recipe we learned on our own. It was good hands-on experience, and we had lots of leftovers to enjoy the following days.

I booked her class for my boyfriend’s birthday, and her class was a success. Tanya brought everything we need for the class, and was flexible with my request, which was making a surprise birthday cake for him. Her class was fun and informative, giving us a lot of helpful advice, and she left the leftovers from the cooking class. I would definitely recommend her class to everyone, and we would love to book her class again!!

We had the BEST time during our cooking class with Chef Tanya! She is incredibly professional and personable. We were in Boston for a vacation and staying in an Airbnb with a VERY small kitchen. Tanya was super accommodating and even brought a table for us to work on/eat on as we had extremely limited counter/work space. Having Chef Tanya come into our "home" was like having a friend in the kitchen with us. We were all laughing, telling stories and having a great time while learning some very useful/fun cooking techniques and recipes! The class and menu were great because we can confidently recreate them at home or add our own spin to them. I would highly recommend this class to cooks of any skill/experience level. I would also enthusiastically recommend Chef Tanya for any class and hope we may be able to use her services again!

We had a fantastic evening with Chef Tanya, the food was great, we learned a lot and Chef Tanya is very fun to have around. She also left the kitchen spotless!

Our cooking lesson with Tanya was so much fun! She is bubbly, very knowledgable, and a great teacher. She brought all of the ingredients and equipment PLUS some fun decorations to help celebrate my birthday. We especially appreciated that she took into account some dietary restrictions and brought ingredient replacements just in case. We highly recommend taking a class with Tanya and hope to do another one again soon!

Chef Tanya is a great teacher! She knew just what to say and how to say it to keep meal prep on track with a 12 year old sous chef assisting. The meal was so much more than one might expect when selecting Coconut Shrimp Tacos. Her salsas, sauces and accompanying dishes were an artful blend of complementary flavors. What a treat! We will have her back again.

Had a date night at home with Chef Tanya - Chicken Marsala Dinner for Two. She is very professional but also easy going at the same time so that you feel completely comfortable with her in your home. She was there for almost 5 hours and she even cleaned up, which we did not expect at all. We all really vibed and learned some good technique for everyday cooking that we have already used. I loved her passion for Italian cooking and her story. We will be calling her again...next time maybe for a girls night dining in!

Really a great experience! There are too many good things to say about our (my girlfriend's and my) experience with chef Tanya during my girlfriend's birthday so I will try and break it down into parts so that I don't ramble on forever! Food: Food prep and cooking was a lot of fun as well as delicious! Chef Tanya's knowledge and experience showed through food prep demonstrations and the history behind some of the food names and techniques we covered. We came away from the experience having a fun time and learning a lot of useful things while we were at it! She also did a great job telling us where to find certain ingredients and tools as she was working with them so we could remake everything on our own without any problems in the future. Cleanliness: Even while working on many tasks at once, Chef Tanya made sure to never leave any mess around. She washed everything she used, cleaned all the counter tops, and swept the floors when we were through with it all until our kitchen ended up being cleaner than when she came over! Service: Chef Tanya went above and beyond in everything she did. In addition to everything mentioned above, she made sure to stay well over the time she needed to (after making sure it was alright with us first, of course) in order to finish cleaning and preparing everything with us. All in all, It's hard to list everything that we enjoyed and appreciated about this experience with Chef Tanya, but no expense was spared in making sure it was a wonderful birthday evening. It even came down to something as simple as bringing an adult coloring book that we could color in if we ever got bored or tired from all the cooking, or wrapping a chair in her own birthday ribbons to help us celebrate! Definitely would not hesitate to book another session with Chef Tanya when we want to try another course!
