Learn how to create a gourmet traditional Mexican feast for two!
Enjoy preparing a classic, Mexican-influenced meal while learning new culinary skills in a cooking class for two from the comfort of your home. Chef Tanya will guide you through her techniques and recipes for a gorgeous feast brimming with bright flavors and fresh ingredients.
The first course is mini black bean cakes paired with rich sour cream and zesty lime, cumin and cilantro. Succulent coconut shrimp tacos are the main event and they’re complemented by your choice of homemade avocado salsa or pineapple mango salsa. Dessert is a creamy, caramel-spiked flan.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Tanya's grandmother taught her Puerto Rican cuisine and the most important ingredient: Love. She began to cook professionally at the age of 12 when her family moved to New York, where a neighbor offered to keep her busy at his Italian restaurant, and she hasn't stopped cooking! Chef Tanya's passion drives her, and by refining the art of cooking, she hopes to show guests how to enjoy ethnically diverse cuisine in a healthy way.
