Chef Polly was fantastic throughout the evening. She was prepared, thoughtful, instructive and had a great cooking style. She knew the recipes intimately well and could explain ingredient choice/origin. She also made the instruction fun, with clear thought and creativity injected into each dish. We will definitely be trying a few of the dishes again.

Booked the class Simply Elegant Cakes with Chef Peter in East Bay (West Alameda)
Had a wonderful time with Chef Peter! He's kind and thoughtful and makes delicious baked goods! Chef Peter taught me how to easily stretch pizza dough (don't use a rolling pin!) and bake wonderfully crusty and tasty pizzas. He also had some amazing Honey Wheat Bread that was so flavorful you can eat it all by itself. Deliciously wheaty and sweet! His Lemon Butter Cake involves some techniques to make it fluffy and spongy but it's all worth it cause the final product is sweet, moist and lemony! Perfect with some cream and fresh fruits!
Booked the class Italian Desserts with Chef Nonna in East Bay (West Alameda)
Spending time with Chef Donna is like cooking with a relative, in the best possible way. She's kind, cheerful, sweet and has a life-time of experience cooking! From teaching classes, to working in restaurants to living in Italy-- "Nonna Donna" has a wealth of knowledge under her chef's belt. Especially when it comes to pasta! I was amazed at how she showed me how to transform flour, eggs and a little olive oil into delicious Fettuccine with Alfredo Sauce and rolled out Raviolis stuffed with Butternut Squash and Brown Sage Butter. AMAZING! The pasta itself was so good, it almost doesn't need any sauce! Don't miss some of her desserts too! Torta Caprese or Apple Crostata-- both of these sweet delights are spectacular! If you've always wanted to learn Italian cooking from a "nonna," look no further than Chef Donna!

Fantastic! I’ve made pies before and I learnt some cool new things. We were also given a fantastic lunch. Totally made the roommates jealous with our tasty pies.

I thought I was the queen of pie, but I learned how to improve my crust and now I'm hooked on rhubarb.
