Explore the versatility of luxurious caviar with this internationally inspired menu by Chef Chris.

In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Chris will introduce you to indulgent varieties of caviar enjoyed around the world. Showcase the nuances of this opulent ingredient while preparing recipes featuring different styles of caviar from Asian, Italian and Greek cuisines.

Across several courses, you will craft a savory feast, including umami-rich daikon radish pancakes topped with ikura, or red salmon caviar, fresh pita to accompany homemade taramasalata with white tarama, a type of Greek fish roe, and decadent Italian risotto infused with Champagne and saffron and finished with black caviar.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

After discovering his passion for cooking as an Italian language instructor at UC Berkeley, Chef Chris went on to be the co-founder of a culinary event business, specializing in regional Italian cooking, and then worked as a chef teaching cooking classes for corporate groups, cultivating a 5-star rating. Chef Chris now works with a company providing walking food tours of Little Italy as well as teaching his lauded cooking classes.

Chef Chris did an excellent job. He was very thoughtful and extremely insightful. He did an amazing job explaining cooking methods and how to do things. I would recommend chef to anyone. We will definitely be taking another class
