Our family of 13 had the best time w/Chef Federico! His home is lovely, warm & welcoming. He was so organized for our large group. We broke into groups but also shared tasks to create a delicious fresh salad, potato gnocchi with a chicken bolognese (recipe chef created based off our family preferences & YUM), & strawberry tiramisu for dessert. Chef Federico is warm, enthusiastic, engaging, patient, creative, welcoming & eager to share his passion for cooking and create a wonderful evening!

We had a wonderful experience with Chef Federico! We could not recommend him more. We (my partner and I) went for our six year anniversary and simply had a blast. (On that note, we felt very comfortable in this class as an LGBTQ couple!) Chef Federico was an outstanding host and extremely well prepared for our class. He had prepared and organized all the food ahead of time, so we had minimal grunt work and maximal fun. He even prepared us a number of appetizers to nibble on during the class. He was a superb teacher and gave us a number of tips. We also greatly appreciated how accommodating he was in getting us scheduled when we had limited availability. And finally, the food was SO GOOD (buonissimo!!!!). Grazie, Chef Federico!

The event was a success!!! My entire team was thrilled with Chef Federico and the class. We were all pleasantly surprised that the team could cook (lol). Chef Federico was great to be around. I was given this class as a gift from a relative. I have to admit I had my reservations. I thought this was not my kind of thing. Well, I was wrong. This class or I should say, the experience was amazing. Chef Federico is a wonderful man. He was so inviting and made us feel at home at the very beginning. Chef not only took his time explaining the recipes but also gave insight into the region and history of his food from his homeland. Seeing him explain step-by-step the process was truly delight. You can see he takes pride in his skills and culture. The food was amazing. My only complaint is, he calls his sauce, sauce. When we all know itâ€™s gravyâ€¦ haha! All joking a slide. In the strongest terms I recommend Chef Federicoâ€˜s courses. You wonâ€™t be disappointed!

You never know what to expect when you sign up for a cooking class. Who will be there? Will it be clean? Will I get to participate? Will I learn anything? Well Federico's class checked all the boxes. He welcomed my friend and me into his home to make Gnocchi, Caponata, and this amazing strawberry dessert. He was organized and professional. The two other guests were delightful. After preparing our meal which we could now easily reproduce at home, we sat down to a lovely lunch with total strangers, had great conversation, and easily relaxed into what was offered to us. I highly recommend taking a class with Federico. I walked away with some new tips, cooking skills and a general appreciation of his cuisine.

He was very helpful with overcoming scheduling hurdles, welcomed us warmly, and had everything ready for our class including some delicious cheeses and breads to start. His facilities were impeccibly clean, his instructions were clear and fun, and the meal came out delicious! Chef Federico made us feel at home, learning his family recipes and discussing cooking techniques and trends. And as a surprise, he made us a spcial anniversary tart! This was a fun experience to celebrate my sisters birthday! The six of us went out of our comfort zone and had a great time with Federico! We went to his place in South Philly and it was really easy to get to. It was Super clean, nice area, and beautiful home. We each had a station where he instructed us on how to prep our meal. The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed being with Federico as he told us his background and heritage in Italy. We brought our own wine and he provided soft drinks, it was perfect for my husband who doesnâ€™t drink. I highly suggest the meat and cheese upgrade. Itâ€™s all from the Italian market in Philly - mouth watering just thinking about it! We got to take home the recipe to give it a try at home. Everything was so fresh and the environment was overall a great time.

I have nothing but praise for Chef Federico -- the food, his home and his demeanor. Chef helped us create a menu that would work for multiple allergies and still be delicious. He stood back and let us make a mess (and eventually a meal) and guided us along the way with great patience and warmth. The dinner came out tasty and the process was so much fun. If you have a special occasion -- birthday, bachelorette, celebration of any kind -- I highly recommend Federico's class!

The chef was very accomodating and communicated promptly regarding any questions/concerns we had. Chef Federico hosted my daughter and me for Cooking Class in his home last night. Chef Federico persistenly worked to find a convenient time to accomodate Covid and made sure we all felt welcome and safe during these extenuating circumstances. All precautions were taken, including ability to social distance, masks and gloves and plenty of hand sanitizer. He providing each of two couples with individual utensils and supplies to avoid any cross contamination . The meal of veggie appetizer, spinach gnocchi and strawberry mouse was delicious! Cant wait to make at home !

The Italian cooking class with Chef Federico was a birthday gift from my children. The experience was enjoyable from the moment we entered Chefâ€™s cozy row house. Chef greeted us with hors dâ€™ouevres and photocopy sheets of the recipes we were to prepare. Chef expertly explained the process and highlighted the unique ingredients. I signed up a friend and I for a cooking class with Federico for my friend's birthday. Before the class, Federico reached out to see if we had any dietary restrictions or allergies which I thought was quite proactive. The class itself was very intimate and enjoyable. We were able to get as hands-on as we wanted, and Federico knowledgeably answered all our questions. The food was fantastic and I feel I would be able to incorporate the dishes into my regular cooking. I would highly recommend one of Federico's classes.

Federico was very nice, easy to talk to, and made us feel at home. He greets you with snacks and you are allowed to bring alcohol. We made gnocchi with a twist (no potato) which was very good. He is also very good at accommodating dietary restrictions as well as being health conscious with his cooking. Could not recommend enough.

Estuvimos muy contentas con Federico! En primero lugar su hospitalidad, su casa muy bien puesta y muy limpia!!! Cuida mucho los detalles. Nuestro grupo de niÃ±as de 12 aÃ±os, no podÃan creer que les tuviera preparado un "brake" con carnes frÃas, fruta, refrescos, botana, etc. IncreÃble! Este fue el primer menÃº que hicieron, 1 de 3, y estaban encantadas con los instrumentos de trabajo, porque tenÃa el instrumento necesario para cada cosa. Un detalle que tuvo con las niÃ±as fue que les picÃ³ la cebolla antes de que llegaran para que no "lloraran... por ser pequeÃ±as. Les gustÃ³ mucho el menÃº, y lo que mas nos encantÃ³ fue el comentario de una niÃ±a que dijo: "Ahora ya me gustan las verduras!". Hasta eso logrÃ³ Federico!! Federico es un super chef!! AdemÃ¡s de lo que puse en otro review, en este menÃº nos encantÃ³ la combinaciÃ³n de rissoto con kiwi, nadie de las que fuimos lo habÃamos probado anteriormente. Lo que me encantÃ³ de Federico, fue que no a todo el rissoto le puso el kiwi, por si a alguna niÃ±a no le gustaba y como quiera lo pudiera probar. Este fue uno de los muchos detalles que tuvo Frederico con nuestro grupo de niÃ±as de 12 aÃ±os. Los tiempos muy bien llevados para cada parte del menÃº.

Our experience with Chef Federico was amazing! My girlfriend and I had such a fantastic time cooking with him and another couple. The food we made was incredible and Chef Federico is an absolute master of flavor! We would highly recommend this class, even if you are not vegetarian. The end result was so delicious, I can still remember the taste of that gnocchi over a week later. We ate, drank, laughed, and learned some new culinary skills. We'd book again in a heartbeat!

When you want to try something a bit more hands on but with all the charm of the boutique cooking classes, you would be hard pressed to find a better night out than with Chef Federico of Cozymeal. He brings a dash of Italian cuisine, the rustic charm of northern Italy and blends them together for an enjoyable night in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended. The gnocchi was to die for but this time I know how to make it myself.
