If I could give them more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Chef Vivi and Michi are some of the most kindest and patient people IвЂ™ve ever met. I originally booked the kids sushi class as a gift for my daughterвЂ™s birthday and my husband also booked the ramen class for our anniversary. The ramen class was first and it was such a great experience. It was much easier than expected and everything was simply delicious. I definitely feel like I could go home and make my own ramen one day

Chef Ricky was absolutely amazing! You could tell right away that he was not only very experienced, but extremely knowledgeable about not just sushi, but lots of other food. He set a great atmosphere with music, and a food station set up like you would see in sushi bars, so you did everything that they would do. The rolls came out delicious thanks to his guidance and fresh ingredients! We would definitely take other classes from him.

Chef Ricky was incredible and surpassed all of our expectations! We have done two classes with him now: both times the food was exquisite, and the information he delivered about food was so fun! He is incredibly knowledgeable about all areas of food and truly enjoys teaching others! We had such a good time the first class, we brought along my brother and SIL for the second class and they were equally impressed. We cannot wait to take more classes with Chef Ricky!

Chef Ricky is super knowledgeable and passionate about his trade. Literally I felt like I was learning so much I had to take photos and movies to help remember it all. He has a great teaching demeanor and was patient with our questions The course is well organized and the location ( although I wish it was closer to st Pete) was very conducive to participating. We utilized many of his tools and had room to circulate allowing a true hands on experience We left with our stomachs full and our palates better trained to truly appreciate good sushi Highly recommend Herb James

What a truly wonderful experience my husband and I had cooking with Chef Ricky. He was professional, personable, and beyond knowledgeable. It was so fun & we learned so much. We are already talking about taking another class with him. We had experience with sous vide, but we still learned a lot and the menu was phenomenal. Don't think about it..just book it, now!

I cannot say enough about how fabulous of an experience this was! This was our second experience with Chef Ricky. We hoped it would be an equally exceptional experience. To our surprise, this time far exceeded the previous adventure. Chef Ricky is a great source of information on each technique, the history of each, and how to make a great presentation. But most of all, the food is AMAZING! I have never experienced anything like it. 100 stars!!!

What a spectacular evening. Chef Ricky is a professional chef AND teaches his craft to others. He does these classes in his home, which a kitchen to die for! I had no idea what this type of cooking entailed, which was the purpose of my attendance. The menu was definitely gourmet while fairly easy to prepare, because Chef had already arranged all the ingredients and spices in our space. I would definitely attend another class with Chef Ricky in a New York minute! The other guests were fun to cook with too.

Chef RickyвЂ™s sushi class was AMAZING!! We were impressed as soon as we walked into his beautiful home. Each station in the kitchen was prepped perfectly for us with everything we could need including all ingredients and tools. It was such a calm and relaxing environment which made for the perfect weekend date activity. Chef Ricky was so kind, engaging and knowledgeable and walked us through every step of the sushi process. We really feel like we learned a ton!! And at the end we got to take home our sushi creations and even the mats. Everything was so fresh and tasty - we couldnвЂ™t have had a better experience, right down to his dog saying hello and his sweet wife taking our photo! Thank you Chef Ricky!!

This class was so much fun and Chef Ricky is the best! It is in the chefвЂ™s house, so donвЂ™t be alarmed when the maps takes you to a neighborhood. I got this for my boyfriend for a birthday gift and he loved it. There were 6 people in the class, he has a beautiful home with so much space. The spots are nicely setup with everything you need. He teaches you to make sushi from scratch and helps you every step of the way. He is very detailed and will answer any questions you have as well as make sure you are doing everything correctly so no one gets frustrated. You can bring your own drinks, he provides wine glasses and water. The price is absolutely worth it, you make so many rolls of sushi that you eat while you cook and also get to take so much home with you, you will have sushi for days!

My fiancГ© and I celebrated Valentine's Day this year by taking Chef RickyвЂ™s Sushi Omakase class. The class was amazing! It was very hands-on and we learned about the history of sushi and Japan and how to make delicious food! The kitchen was beautiful and each person had their own setup with ingredients and tools. We brought sake with us to enjoy during the class. The class lasted about 2.5 hours and when we finished, we were FULL. I highly recommend taking this class. Thank you Chef!

Not only does he supervise and show you how to make sushi, but he educates you on the history, adding in fun anecdotes and important tips through his wealth of experience in the restaurant field, This is not a lecture class вЂ”- it is hands on fun. Chef Ricky makes the sushi along with you вЂ”- AND you get to eat everything you assemble, with plenty to take home for tomorrow. I was not familiar with Sous VIde cooking. Chef Ricky made it all so easy! We made crГЁme brГ»lГ©e first. This took the longest time to cook in the water. Next we made the whole red snapper. THe amazing thing is that the snapper only took 45 minutes to cook in the Sous Vide machine. The whole experience was over the top! We made fresh cilantro rice to go with the snapper. This was definitely 5+ stars! Highly recommend Chef Ricky!

We had so much fun with Chef Ricky that I booked another sushi lesson with a group of clients. We had a group of six. All of my clients had the BEST time!!! After the first roll, everybody felt much more at ease. Chef Ricky plays music that is geared towards sushi (Rolling in the Deep). We learned about the history, ingredients and proper food safety guidelines for preparing sushi. Chef Ricky answered all questions including non sushi questions. His kitchen is perfect for teaching an intimate sushi class. Highly recommend that you book quickly as the spots fill up quick!!! 5 Stars!!!!!!!!

Wow, where do I even start. I arranged this for my husband and our best friends to do this class together for his birthday. It was the highlight of his weekend! вЂЁвЂЁWe all agreed that Chef Ricky is a genius. He knows so much about the culture and history behind sushi (do you know what the word вЂњsushiвЂќ even means? YouвЂ™ll find out!) as well as the intricate process and exact ingredients (aka the right ones!) that go into the process of actually creating the sushi rolls. вЂЁвЂЁDEFINITELY come hungry! You make an incredible amount of delicious food. You get to take home what you donвЂ™t eat (which for me was a lot) along with your sushi mat! IвЂ™ve already bought the recommended ingredients so I can make sushi at home! This review is falling short on describing just how good the experience was. I would say it was worth AT LEAST $150 per person. It was really fun, delicious, informative, and Chef Rickie makes the experience enjoyable :) I fully recommend this class to any one who is interested in learning to make sushi!

Chef Ricky (his wife, and two pups) made the evening unforgettable! Not only did he satisfy my personal need to know "Why?" for everything, but he connected with everyone in our class. For his set up, each station was the image of perfection. He thought of everything! Right down to two mini trash cans, color coded for trash or recycling and togo boxes! Witty, hands on, doesn't rush/push, allows for creativity when making your own rolls, delicious personal recipes. I would change nothing from this experience!

THIS REVIEW IS LONGGGGG OVERDUE!!!! (Which I sincerely apologize for Chef) The experience with Chef Ricky was one that I can't even put into words. The professionalism and expertise which Chef Ricky possesses was one of a kind. My boyfriend and I felt so welcomed and comfortable. Although this was such a relatively new meal for the both of us, we felt like legit professionals!!! Chef Ricky was very detailed and thorough with the step by step directions.
