Directions 8 steps | 40 Minutes
Prepare burger patties. Preheat the grill to medium heat. In a large bowl, add the ground beef, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, crushed red pepper, brown sugar, sea salt and black pepper. Mix to combine.
Form the ground beef into four burger patties.
Prepare the mushrooms and onions. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter and add the mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes.
Reduce the heat to medium and add the sliced onion, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for another 5 minutes or until the onion slices are softened and browned.
Add the patties to the grill for 8 minutes on one side. Flip and grill the other side for 6-8 minutes or until cooked through.
Top with a slice of swiss cheese and allow it to melt while the patties are cooking.
Remove the burger from the grill and place each one of them on a brioche bun. Top with sauteed mushroom and onions.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
- For leaner burgers, use 90/10 ground beef.
- Feel free to substitute for any other cheese of your preference.
