Cooking Class - Tuscan Pici Pasta From Scratch at a Lively Bar & Restaurant in Philadelphia

I recently participated in a dinner party prepared by Chef Alessandra, and WOW, did it exceed every expectation I had walking in. We had a group of 8 hosted by a friend in their lovely home. We started the evening around the spacious kitchen island with cocktails curated for the evenings Italian theme. Chef Alessandra gathered us around to share what our evening would entail. Her energy and smile is infectious. She is genuinely enthusiastic for the cuisine, it's organic wholesomeness, and the small farm to table tastes we were about to experience. I was blown away by the simplicity and amazing flavor of her whole grain focaccia bread to start the evening. She even had us do a hands-on pasta making session to get into the spirit of it all. What followed was four amazing courses with native Italian wine pairings. She introduced each course sprinkled with insights on her inspirations, cooking styles, and love of farm to table freshness. Chef Alessandra is a breath of fresh air and her creations are absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this "experience" with close friends or family, and get ready for an unforgettable evening!

Chef Alessandra saved me during the most unhinged phases of life.. extremely pregnant with a toddler and then immediately postpartum with zero brain cells left. Cooking was not an option. Thinking about food felt offensive. Enter Chef Alessandra. From day one, she showed up with meals that were somehow both insanely delicious and genuinely healthy. Everything was fresh, balanced, and clearly made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Nothing tasted like “meal prep” or “this is good for you, so just deal with it.” It was real food that I actually craved and looked forward to eating, which is saying a lot when you are surviving on very little sleep. Once my boss baby arrived, her meals became essential. Those early newborn days are a blur of chaos and hunger, and having my fridge stocked with food I didn’t have to cook, think about, or regret eating later was truly life-changing. I ate better postpartum than I do on a normal, fully functioning adult day. And then there’s Chef Alessandra herself, who is just as great (if not better) as the food. She is funny, upbeat, and genuinely joyful to be around. Even on days when I felt like a walking zombie, she somehow made the kitchen feel calm and cheerful. Her energy is contagious in the best way, and she always left me laughing, well fed, and wondering how she manages to be that put together. Chef Alessandra is the rare combination of wildly talented, incredibly thoughtful, and just a really delightful human to have in your home. If you are pregnant, postpartum, overwhelmed, or simply want amazing food without lifting a finger, hire her immediately. Your future self, who is hungry and tired, will thank you!!!

This private dinner exceeded expectations on many levels. The food was absolutely delicious, and we picked up great tips along the way. The chef made the entire experience fun engaging, and informative. She was not only extremely talented but also so entertaining and personable, which made the experience for us, while still very professional. Learned a lot, laughed a lot, and left feeling inspired to cook more at home. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a memorable and delicious time!
