Cooking Class - French Baking: Magical Macarons

What You'll Do

If you dream of making perfect French macarons, this culinary lesson is for you.

Why fly to Paris to learn the art of macaron making when you could simply sign up for this hands-on cooking class? Following the lead of a renowned chef, you’ll quickly get to grips with the skills required to make these iconic French treats at home. You’ll leave having mastered recipes for two vanilla macarons — one with blackberry buttercream, the other with rich hazelnut-chocolate ganache.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


After pursuing culinary school and retiring from teaching, Chef Karen became a chef instructor in 2019. Promoted to Culinary Lead in 2020, she continued to excel, recently stepping into the role of Resident Chef. Working as a Chef Instructor has rekindled her passion for food and sharing culinary knowledge with every guest she meets.

I’m no longer intimidated by preparing a Beef Wellington thanks to Chef Karen! Chef walked us through each step of preparation and voila! The best Beef Wellington accompanied by green beans and mashed potatoes! I’ll be making this menu for my family soon!
