During this engaging cooking class, Chef Jackie will guide you in creating a vegan Mediterranean menu. You’ll explore how you can create exquisite flavors by combining fresh vegetables with different spices.
Start by crafting handmade lemony herb-stuffed grape leaves with rice, cinnamon, allspice and mint. Next, you’ll make a velvety baba ghanoush bruschetta with a smoky twist and create a party-worthy Mediterranean orzo salad that's full of textures and pops of color, thanks to apricots, pistachios and arugula. And lastly, transform traditional tahini into a rich chocolatey halva-inspired Mediterranean treat.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Our experience with chef Jackie was nothing short of incredible! We had so much fun and truly learned so much that we can apply in our everyday cooking. She was patient with us and also really lovely to chat with as well. My boyfriend and I both agreed that it was one of the best Friday nights we’ve ever had. I highly recommend booking a class with Chef Jackie!

Jeff Jackie's event/experience largely exceeded my expectations. Not only the recipes were fabulous, she is a great teacher. We learn many basic cooking technics, such as how to properly hold a knife, ways to cut scallions, etc, etc. The food tasted amazing.

Chef Jackie taught a super fun and informative class! The food that we made was delicious and I really liked that she infused her Lebanese culture into the meals because they were very unique. I learned a lot of new cooking techniques that I will apply on a daily basis, and I already bought ingredients to make one of the amazing dishes she instructed. This class truly exceeded my expectations!

We very much enjoyed Chef Jackie's Lebanese cooking class. She customized the menu for us (presumably possible only because the two of us were the only students that day). She is a warm, welcoming host, and the food was tasty. Making the food was a lot of fun and we very much enjoyed the meal at the end.
The recipes are good, but if you are an interested cook willing to experiment, you can find good recipes for anything on the internet. So, though our meal was delicious, what we appreciated even more was Chef Jackie's instruction in broader aspects of cooking. She will, for example, correct your knife technique, showing you the best way to hold and use a chef's knife, and giving you chances to repeat newly-learned motions. She's been a teacher for years, and it shows. We'll put the skills we learned to use in daily life. This was an excellent experience all around.

This was a great class. We made delicious food and learned great recipes and new cooking skills. Chef Jackie is very patient and accommodating and has a joyful attitude toward cooking that makes for a comfortable, collaborative atmosphere.
