Learn to prepare a variety of French-inspired Creole Soul Food!
In this soul food cooking class, Chef Carolina will teach you a variety of delicious dishes inspired by both France and southern Louisiana!
She'll teach you a variety of sweet and savory beignets, the famous fried dough of New Orleans, including chocolate, sour apple, and crawfish. You'll also learn a high-end take on shrimp and grits with a spicy tomato-bacon gravy, served with a side of tender cream biscuits. Chef Carolina won't just teach you the dishes, but also the background of each one.
Guests are welcome to bring their own beer or wine to enjoy with the class and meal.

Meet your chef
Chef Carolina graduated from the Art Institute and The Institute of Natural Food, and worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years. She has been surrounded by good food all of her life — her mother and grandmother were always in the kitchen cooking, and she learned many secrets to authentic ethnic Mexican food from them. This has been Chef Carolina's inspiration for creating menus full of natural, unprocessed foods.
