Overall, the food was good and Chef Desmond was very kind. I would’ve given 3.5 stars if I could. The reason for less stars is 1) because we felt very rushed throughout the meal. We barely had time to finish each course before chef desmond was taking our plates and serving new ones. I don’t know if he had somewhere else to be but it felt like he was just itching to get out of our house and so we couldn’t really take our time to enjoy the meal. 2) the main course wasn’t really seasoned. the tuna was bland, the green beans were bland, and some of the potatoes were uncooked, which doesn’t feel right considering how much we paid. I think maybe the rushing may have contributed to that. 3) he wouldn’t leave our house without a tip, and I was planning to give him one anyway through cozymeal, but it just felt odd the way he went about it.
Overall, not a bad experience, but I likely wouldn’t do it again. At least not at this price point.
