Had a great experience with Chef Desmond when I booked for my boyfriend’s birthday! He was flexible when a snowstorm hit and food was amazing. He is a great conversationalist and helped make the weekend amazing! Would book again!

Chef Desmond was amazing! He was personable and fun and was so flexible when our parties plans changed last minute. The menu he put together was delicious, the tuna was perfect! Would hire him again in a second (FYI our party chose to tip in cash so we aren’t adding it in the app!)

His technical skill as well as his wide range of knowledge and wisdom followed by his intense passion in his craft and profession has nurtured him to become a force to be reckoned with. Passion! Passionate culinarian, passionate educator, passionate director. Desmond is an outstanding combination of smart, enthusiastic, attention to detail, open minded, top down manager, systems and controls installer, salesmanship and team developer. You will not out work Desmond. Boundless(really!) energy and enthusiasm that he applies with a deft hand. Smart, very knowledgeable about education, culinary, tourism, management and cost controls.

I have known Desmond for many years. In all of the time I have known him, he has presented himself as a very professional and progressive thinking culinarian. I have had the distinct pleasure to see his program up close. I am very impressed with the facilities, the students, and the curriculum. I have seen him do presentations and found them to be thorough and educational. All in all, I have the utmost respect for his abilities and accomplishments. I would be honored to have him on my team any day.

Chef Desmond is fantastic! He is a consummate professional and has a wealth of culinary knowledge. He was so engaging and we learned so much from him. I highly recommend Chef Desmond to anyone in the Philadelphia area that’s looking for a great culinary experience!

Overall, the food was good and Chef Desmond was very kind. I would’ve given 3.5 stars if I could. The reason for less stars is 1) because we felt very rushed throughout the meal. We barely had time to finish each course before chef desmond was taking our plates and serving new ones. I don’t know if he had somewhere else to be but it felt like he was just itching to get out of our house and so we couldn’t really take our time to enjoy the meal. 2) the main course wasn’t really seasoned. the tuna was bland, the green beans were bland, and some of the potatoes were uncooked, which doesn’t feel right considering how much we paid. I think maybe the rushing may have contributed to that. 3) he wouldn’t leave our house without a tip, and I was planning to give him one anyway through cozymeal, but it just felt odd the way he went about it. Overall, not a bad experience, but I likely wouldn’t do it again. At least not at this price point.
