Was a lot of fun, and great instructor! Even though it was not the chef pictured, I felt the chef was professional and a great leader. I would like the recipe, which I was told would be sent. I also did not see that chairs or stools were available to me. Chairs or stools should be readily available at this particular location for all people involved. 90 minutes is a long time to stand for both older people and disabled people- we can still do the prep work from a seated position but we need stools or chairs please.

We had so much fun taking Chef Lisaâ€™s macaron class! We found parking easily, weâ€™re greeted and attended to right away, and went over our experience and questions before jumping in to cooking. Once started, all the ingredients were ready to go and she helped us with step by step instructions while providing her own tips along the way! She made the time together enjoyable with her witty sense of humor and had us splitting out tasks to get everything accomplished in the time we had together. We left with a ton of delicious cookies and were surprised WE made them ourselves! Had a blast and would recommend!

We arranged a class "New England Parisian Brasserie" with Chef Olivier for our son and two of his friends. All of them like to cook, but they are 12-year old boys. Chef Olivier did a great job in all aspects. The menu is well balanced with some items being relatively simple and others - more advanced, but all very tasty. The chef flawlessly managed the team of very inexperienced cooks giving them the tasks they can handle, pushing them a little bit out of their comfort zone, encouraging them and making them laugh. The kids enjoyed both cooking and eating. I was the only adult on the team and learned a lot about the technics I had questions about. Now I'm less afraid to make Pate au Choux on my own. I would highly recommend Chef Olivier for a team of any cooking experience.

From the moment we entered the apartment, we knew this night would be memorable. A birthday gift from my hubs, Chris, who wanted to gift experiences/memories vs things and french cuisine (well everything related to france) is among our favorite things- he delivered. Chef Lisa had soft jazz reminiscent of a Paris cafe in the Roaring 20s and her apartment decor showed that she had traveled the world, bringing a piece of her travels back to Brighton. We were welcomed with an amazing cheese and homemade fig paste that I honestly could have eaten in its entirety, but knew courses were coming. From the moment we entered the kitchen I was struck with how well she was as an instructor. I love cooking (I'm no chef- I just enjoy it) and Lisa was able to help sharpen my skills and teach me new ways of looking at putting a dish together. The hubs is not a cook- and he held his own, making an amazing honey mustard vinaigrette and he even made the main course (very excited for this.... as it means he will also be in charge of 1 meal a month ;) From start to finish, we were educated, not only in cooking, but the science behind it, which I found fascinating! We were so relaxed, shared stories with Lisa of travel, and by the time the meal ended and dessert was basically licked clean, we both felt that we had met someone who we would see again. If you at all are weirded out by not going to some class or restaurant for a cooking lesson and coming to someones home- DO NOT BE. This was one of the most memorable experiences that my husband and I have had (& we have had many). Do yourself a favor- and book Lisa!

The class exceeded our expectations. We had Chef Tom as our instructor and he was awesome. I think he was the reason the class was far more enjoyable than we had expected. He was knowledgeable, patient, and very clear about cooking instructions. He was able to really hold everyone's attention in the class (which was a full one). Every bit of the meal was delicious!!! In fact, my wife and I have decided to make it again this weekend at home. We are also signing up for another class and hoping to have Chef Tom as our instructor. We had a BLAST cooking with Chef Lisa!! She was very careful with food allergies (celiac and dairy-free) and she was incredibly knowledgeable on all things cooking. We took a class on a highly technical baking project, French macarons with Chef Lisa. It is hard to overstate what a great experience this was! Chef is part instructor, part motivator, and part scientist. She didn't just talk at us, but made sure that we were hands-on doing the work the whole time, and this gave me great confidence that I truly *can* do what we learned after the fact! She always made sure to give the feedback that we can (and are) going in the right direction, which is important. She was also super knowledgeable about the science behind the food, and gave all the details, and was able to answer any question we thought of. Being able to pick the brain of a real chef is a super useful aspect of the whole experience. I also want to say that you could tell from the little things that weren't listed in the course description that she has a passion for hospitality, and making sure her guests have a good time. 100% you will not regret one second of time spent in her classes!
