In this fun and informative class, you'll learn the many differences between macaroons and macarons.

If you're a passionate home baker with knowledge in pastry making and are looking for a fun way to upgrade your skills, learn how to make classic French macarons and their famous American counterpart, macaroons, in this fun and interactive class with Chef Lisa.

In addition to baking and enjoying both of these delightful confections, you'll also learn how to make no-bake chocolate macaroons with cashew butter and apricot jam. At the end of the class, you will leave with a box of your culinary creations and a personalized macaron recipe, ready to be recreated in your very own kitchen.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

She was given the opportunity to further her career by working as an executive pastry chef for resorts and hotels, as an healthy eating specialist for Whole Foods Market, and now has her own culinary business, where she helps others explore food, and ultimately, better their lives.

Chef Lisa was fantastic! I was recently diagnosed with celiac, and she was super careful with the ingredients / cleanliness of the kitchen. We had a great time learning to make three different treats and getting to know, Lisa. Book this class!

A++++. This class was amazing!!! My daughter and I had such a good time and learned so much from Chef Lisa. Lisa did a wonderful job of breaking down a pretty complicated recipe and explaining the techniques. She also gave us a little science lesson to explain why we did things the way we did. Chef Lisa has the perfect combination of expertise, teaching ability, and patience! We loved this class and will definitely be signing up for another one with Chef Lisa!

We had so much fun taking Chef Lisa’s macaron class! We found parking easily, we’re greeted and attended to right away, and went over our experience and questions before jumping in to cooking. Once started, all the ingredients were ready to go and she helped us with step by step instructions while providing her own tips along the way! She made the time together enjoyable with her witty sense of humor and had us splitting out tasks to get everything accomplished in the time we had together. We left with a ton of delicious cookies and were surprised WE made them ourselves! Had a blast and would recommend!
