Really enjoyed the experience of cooking with Megan and the group. Megan's cooking experience and knowledge as well as jovial and fun demeanor made the event both special and fun for a date night. I highly recommend this class even for beginners like me.

Loved Chef Taruna and her family. We cooked some authentic Indian dishes, and had some great laughs and conversation. My wife and I were so surprised with how simple ingredients can make such amazing food. Would definitely take another class from Chef Taruna in the future.

My friend gave me this experience for Christmas and it was the best gift! Chef Danushka was very knowledgable in the kitchen and I learned some things that I will be implementing in my own kitchen right away! The meal was entirely gluten free and so delicious. We made shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce, Thai pork meatballs with rice noodles with sauce, and coconut rice pudding with candied ginger and fresh mango for dessert. I am excited to make the meal again for my family. It was a really fun time- highly recommend!

Ann and I are 78 and were at first surprised when a couple in their 40's joined us with Chef Taruna and her daughter Tara. The evening couldn't have been better. The exchange of information and viewpoints was comfortable and flowing. Chef Taruna was able to open our eyes and ears with quips and tales of her growing up in India with a grandmother still much part of her family caste. Coincidentally, both of the male guests take cooking seriously. I couldn't resist showing my cohort the different method I used for preparing fresh garlic. The plate of appetizers we each prepared all included the boiled potato awaiting one of several sauces. Much of the preparation time was shared together around the stove. I was pleased to learn of the Indian grocery store in Austin which I was not aware despite living here 17 years. Sitting together sharing our family meal and company made the taste that much more memorable. Thanks Again, Charles Cresswell

This was such a great experience all around. Susie's place is so comfortable. She has created the perfect space for an intimate cooking class. The recipes she developed and shared were easy to follow and used fresh, good ingredients. It was all very delicious. We learned a good bit about cooking and the processes behind the different elements of what we were making. We will definitely be going back to learn more!

Danushka is an amazing instructor who is knowledgeable and kind. She was very helpful guiding us in the kitchen and taught us new techniques for cooking. We made a Vietnamese meal: spring rolls, meatballs with sauce and rice noodles, and finished the meal with rice pudding topped with mango. Would highly recommend a class with her!
