Chef Washington curated an amazing experience! My wife and I chose his course because we love to cook and his menus go above and beyond standard fare. Everything we made/ate was eHe surprised us a with an additional dish of fried catfish (one of my favorites) and paired our meals with a perfect zinfandel. We had an amazing time and learned a lot in the process. I canвЂ™t recommend him enough and my wife and I are looking forward to trying one of his other menus in the future!

First Cozymeal experience, and my bf and I really enjoyed our time with Chef Washington! He provided with aprons and name tags, took time to do introductions and share fun facts, then he walked through the menu. I was really excited for this class as I haven't dabbled in cooking French cuisine, and his kindness and approachability made it much easier to jump in. It was just the three of us in the kitchen, and Chef Washington was very good at checking in, gauging our interests, delegating, and supporting. With a small group, we were all staying busy and it was really engaging to cook. He gave us tips and tricks along the way for cooking and we chatted throughout the night about life, interests, and food. The meal was so good and it was rewarding that we helped cook it. The chicken fricassee and mushroom gravy were absolutely delicious. The chicken fell right off the bone. We also made an extra dish, as he made the pate ahead of time due to the time constraints. I loved the pate; while basic ingredients, the labor of love and technique to build flavor was evident here. YUM. This exceeded any expectation I had. Thanks for hosting us, Chef Washington! Tips: - bring a water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the experience. Chef offered us bottled water he had in the fridge, but even with 3 of us, we were losing track of which bottle was whose. - bring your own to-go containers, in case you have any leftovers you'd like to take. Chef generously gave one of his big containers and some ziplocs.

Chef Shinya was informative, funny and great to work with. He shared some cooking techniques that I will definitely be using in my kitchen at home. Chef also sat down with us and gave us really good recommendations for places to eat in Tokyo/Seattle areas.

This was the most amazing experience I've ever had in the kitchen! The chef was not only an highly talented instructor (you need patience with me LOL) but he was so efficient in everything that the kitchen was spotless again once the meal was done! PLUS the food tasted AMAZING! Absolutely an experience I'd love to do again! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The evening was impeccably designed with a wonderful mix of history, instruction and conversation. The end result - the Tokyo style Ramen was superb! We would highly recommend this class.

Even before we started our in-person ramen experience, Chef Shinya was very timely and helpful in providing information upon request. We wanted to make the most out of the 3-hr session and was able to prepare by watching a few short, but notable documentaries on the history of ramen. On the day of the cooking class, we showed up at Chef Shinya's home and everything was nicely prepared in advance (e.g. having both fresh chasu / pork to prepare in person but also some ready made for consumption due to the time it takes to marinate appropriately). Me and my SO were the only two guests, and he explained each step of the process very clearly, from making Ajitsuke Tamago to all the ins and outs of using the optimal ramen noodle and creating the soup base (we had Tokyo style ramen), I came away from the session with a much deeper perspective about the art of ramen. I will never see another bowl of ramen in the same light! When we were able to finally enjoy the ramen towards the end of the session, Chef Shinya set up a nice ambience for me and my SO and gave us additional Chasu pork to enjoy. Would highly recommend this session to anyone looking to better understand ramen!

We had so much fun with Chef Shinya - we got to learn about not only how to cook ramen (which was delicious) but also the history of ramen and the importance of the ingredients. Chef Shinya is full of interesting stories from his career that made the experience very engaging, plus he is just a very positive and kind person that makes you feel at ease while in his kitchen. Would recommend his ramen course to anyone and look forward to scheduling one of his other courses soon!

The evening with Chef Shinya was delightful! We learned so much including how heat affects food absorption of flavors and how to properly dry your ramen noodles! We took the Tokyo style ramen class with Chef Shinya. It was such a fun class and we got to learn lots of great cooking tips from him. The ramen turned out phenomenal. We also learned some interesting and fun facts about Japan, along with some ramen history. Overall, it was a great learning experience. We would highly recommend this to everyone.

My boyfriend and I did this as a holiday date night and we had such a good time. Chef Shinya knows so much about Japanese cuisine and every single component that goes into making ramen. He really tailors the class to be applicable for your every day life. He was also super friendly and engaging. We had a great time and will definitely book again for other classes that he teaches. IвЂ™ll also definitely be making the ramen recipe again.

Preparing an amazing dinner with a private chef in our own kitchen was such a special way to celebrate our anniversary! (After 18 years, you kinda run out of unique ideas.) She worked with our dietary needs and taste preferences. I learned a lot of new techniques and got to pick her chefy brain. Great value too: we got to drink our own wine, and have tons of leftovers. I cannot recommend Chef Jennifer highly enough! I'm absolutely hiring her for parties and celebrations in the future.

Chef Bruce is an amazing chef and I can only speak highly of him. We booked his cooking class with a few friends in Seattle and really enjoyed it. We had a great meal, learned a lot about different techniques, and were also entertained the entire time. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a fun and educational cooking class in Seattle.

Chef Bruce and his wife used to own a very famous French restaurant in Boston before they decided to retire and focus on cooking classes. He is a great chef and a fantastic instructor. Given that his recipes are very complicated, he often does more of a cooking demonstration than a cooking class but it's still very engaging and he teaches the students many useful techniques. The end result of the class was a very delicious meal - one of the best dishes I have had!

Chef Washington did a great job of making feel at ease immediately upon arrival. He provided all the ingredients and did a great job helping us all feel part of the cooking experience. There were 4 of us, and of the 4, 2 were experienced and 2 were no and he did a great job adjusting to our individual knowledge levels. And so much food! I'm glad I read the earlier reviews to bring containers for leftovers. Definitely would recommend Chef Washington!
