What You’ll Do

Become an at-home sushi chef thanks to this hands-on cooking class featuring three gourmet rolls.

Practice tricks of the trade with guidance from Chef Justin as you work your way through preparing an authentic Japanese sushi menu completely from scratch using only fresh ingredients.

Steam and savor lightly salted edamame before using a traditional bamboo sushi rolling mat to smooth down sticky rice and artfully arrange ingredients like avocado, cucumber and imitation crab to roll to perfection and top with mouthwatering sauces. You'll practice your rolling techniques with three unique combinations, then wrap up by enjoying creamy and chewy vanilla mochi.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We loved our experience with Chef Justin. The sushi we made was delicious, and it was incredible to learn technique from such a patient teacher. My 13 year old nephew participated with us and he absolutely loved it too. I would recommend this experience and Chef Justin most highly.

We had a great experience with Chef Justin! I would recommend Chef Justin time and time again to friends and family. I surprised my girlfriend with a sushi making night and we had a fantastic experience. Chef Justin was on time and prepared with all ingredients and supplies. He worked with us to accommodate my girlfriend who had gluten and dairy allergies and have similar rolls and sauces she could consume. He set up and prepared in our kitchen space well. He was friendly, joking, but also very serious and focused on his craft. It was so fun to see his technique and skills and he was a great teacher, letting hs try our hand at cutting and rolling. We ate a multiple course meal and both of us LOVED it. The sushi was so fresh and so good. I couldn’t recommend this more to others. Thank you to Chef Justin for such a fun experience!
