Chef Motoko's rice was perfectly seasoned--I had not tried brown sushi rice before and could not get enough! I enjoyed the practical and healthy adaptations to her traditional fare, and her warmth and eagerness to share her knowledge in the kitchen was delightful.

Chef Motoko prepared a delicious and healthy Japanese lunch for us. She sourced many of the incredibly fresh ingredients for the meal from her own garden. A few of the ingredients I had never tasted before and we loved the flavors. Chef Motoko helped teach us how to make a simple and flavorful sushi bowl as well as a very unique miso soup both of which I canâ€™t wait to make at home. I really liked Chef Motoko who was personable with a homespun style of instruction that was very easy to understand. Â Â
