My cooking style is unique in that I offer classes ranging from Native American cuisine, to horticulture to rare ethnic dishes - all with an explanation of the science behind the process. Many of my clients describe my style as one of historian, gardener, chef, and scientist. For me, it is important to understand how dishes came to be, as well as the chemical reaction occurring contributing to the end result.

Absolutely LOVED Chef Mary, she made me feel so comfortable in the kitchen and blew my mind when it came time to make sourdough bread. Soft, tangy, chewy--everything sourdough should be and I can make it at home now! How exciting! Bread has always intimidated me and it never seemed to come out right so I've been "forced" in the past to use a bread machine. I know, I know, I'm ashamed as well. But now I don't have to! I love how down-to-earth Mary is and how approachable her cooking is. Take her class, you won't be disappointed.
