Step 1

Make the bacon wrapped smokies. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil. Place a baking rack on top. Slice the bacon into thirds.

Wrap a sausage with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.

Coat with the brown sugar and place it on the prepared baking rack. Repeat with the remaining sausage.

Bake the bacon wrapped smokies until the bacon is crispy, about 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

In a bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce and pineapple juice.

Wrap a sausage with a slice of bacon. Place a pineapple chunk on top and secure it with a toothpick.

Dip the bacon wrapped sausage in the honey mixture and place it on the prepared baking rack. Repeat with the remaining sausages.

Bake the sausages for 15 minutes. Remove the sausages from the oven and baste the sausages once more with the sauce.
