What You’ll Do

Explore the enticing flavors and textures of Indian cuisine with Chef Manjiri.

In this hands-on cooking class, you'll practice the skills and techniques to create a hearty meal inspired by traditional dishes of India. Transform familiar ingredients, like chicken, tomatoes and rice, into a beautiful spread that adds some spice to the everyday meal.

Begin with crunchy poppadom before building depth of flavor in a rich chicken curry paired with fluffy basmati rice and spiced vegetables. Next, learn how to craft a cooling corn raita, followed by a bright and creamy mango shrikhand seasoned with cardamom and saffron for a wonderfully sweet ending.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Manjiri was very kind, helpful, a real down to earth and relatable person. She laid out everything that we would be using for the dishes and explained where we could get some authentic Indian ingredients and spices to recreate these at home! Really fun and tasty evening.
