The food we cooked was delicious.

We had a delightful experience. Chef Skiz is a terrific teacher and very well versed in many cuisines. We created an entire Indian meal, learning about spices and techniques along the way. The finished product was delicious!

Chef Skiz did an awesome job teaching us about Indian Cuisine and walking us through multiple recipes. He has a great apartment and the food turned out great! Thanks Chef Skiz - 5/5 Stars!!

My wife and I have been talking for quite a while about taking a class on making Indian dishes. We have always taken classes whenever we have traveled and have always enjoyed learning new dishes. This Valentine's I wanted to do something unique and different and to my surprise, there are Indian cooking classes right in the Baltimore area. Needless to say, my wife was thrilled with the surprise. From start to end, Chef Skiz was a great instructor and a very personable gentleman. He was very open about answering any questions, teaching techniques and explaining all the spices we discovered when cooking Indian dishes. To my pleasant surprise, our main dish was one of my favorites, perfect! We had a great time, learned some fun dishes to make together and Chef Skiz made it fun and very educational. If you want to have a fun night out together to share with your significant other, I highly suggest a evening with Chef Skiz. My wife was over the moon with her evening out cooking together.

I can’t say enough about what an amazing experience this was. Chef Skiz was fantastic. Very thorough in explaining all ingredients, and provided a step by step cooking experience for my gf and I. His place was welcoming and we’ll 100% be booking another event with him as soon as possible. Do yourself a favor and book immediately. Best meal I’ve had in ages, and we cooked it. ;) (thanks to him of course). Thank you so much Chef Skiz!!

My husband and I has the pleasure of cooking with chef Skiz tonight. He was very warm and welcoming! My husband who is already a great cook learned some knife skills and we all learned a great trick to getting a mango out of its skin easily! I don’t cook usually and tonight was fun for me to try doing new things and having his guidance but he didn’t talk down to me or treat me as if I was the weak one. His house is very comfortable and a great setting. I absolutely recommend going to him for cooking classes as it is a fun and laid back experience. My husband and I absolutely will return to him for other cooking adventures! <3

Chef Skiz was fantastic, as was this class. He came early, was fully prepared with an incredible array of ingredients, and led us through five courses with a bit of education and storytelling. We learned a few things and enjoyed an amazing meal. We highly recommend Chef Skiz!

Definitely 5 stars (if I could give more I would). So from the moment my partner and I walked in he made us feel welcome, as he was extremely friendly and the ambience was great (music and the setting) it felt professional and overall was a great experience. The recipes weren’t difficult but they were involved. We did all the work, but he provided guidance so as we never feel lost or overwhelmed. He gave us a demonstration of the steps and then let us take the reins. He also provided clarification and tips/tricks in an interesting and fun manner. The food came out absolutely delicious, and we could taste every note which we haven’t experienced with the same dish(es) in any restaurant. We made a meal that could easily have fed four people to more than satisfactory. With this recipe I would recommend bringing something to take leftovers home with. Every ingredient that Chef Skiz provided was fresh, potent, and just right. Chef Skiz is a lot of fun, has a lot of great stories about his travels, and he takes the time to get to know you so you feel like you’re cooking with friends. I can’t recommend him enough!

We had an amazing time with Chef Skiz in our first cooking class ever. Since the moment we arrived he made sure we felt comfortable and shared with us some very useful cooking tips. We discovered a whole new range of flavours and we were impressed by the plates we made, everything was delicious! Would recommend 100%!

Every dish was wonderfully flavorful, well-balanced and approachable. Chef Skiz was very open to talk about his cooking style, skills needed for dishes, flavor profiles of ingredients and also about his culinary background. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time cooking with Skiz when he did a private class in our home for four people. My husband and I had previously taken a Sri Lankan cooking class with Skiz at the Chef Shop, and wanted to cook Sri Lankan food again. He tailored the menu to what we were interested in cooking and eating and brought all the ingredients to our house. Skiz taught us lots of tips and tricks while we made dinner; in addition to the recipes we had planned he brought dessert too! The food was fantastic and we had lots of leftovers. Skiz is a very talented chef and it was great to be able to learn from him in our own home. - Laura
